Being that Breakfast Buffet was included in my package, I was pleased at the variety and taste. I would say that the buffet breakfast was the highlight at this hotel. Overall, the staff was pleasure and hospitable. The room was average. The mini kitchen had supply but you could not cook, which turned out fine for me. The fridge would not close complete, therefore the beverages did not stay cold. I was a little irritated that it did not have a dish cloth or paper towel in the kitchen. And speaking of towel, it was hard to get extra towels. I called about 3-4 times for house keeping to bring extra towel. Checking in and out went smoothly. It was so nice to meet Benedict, one of the hotel taxi because he became our personal guide whenever we needed him.

7 beautiful days with a staff that made us feel like royalty.

The fact that breakfast is included in your stay is fantastic! And it's a really good breakfast. Having access to the Beach Resort is also a big plus. Perfect for families!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The extremely friendly staff and the hotel's location ensured my vacation was enjoyable and made everything easily accessible. Rodney Bay is festive with a great collection of eateries and stores, so it was wonderful that we were within walking distance of everything. While there were a few glitches with regard to my room preference, the hotel staff went above and beyond to correct and compensate for those issues and ensure my comfort. I would like to especially thank and praise the hospitality of Caryn (sorry if I spelt it wrong) and Ester, whose kindness exceeded typical standards. I travel often both for pleasure and work (I'm an attorney) and I found the staff of Bay Gardens Hotel to be exceptional.

great hotel, good location, clean, friendly staff!! great time, very good restaurants in town and on the beach road!!!

This hotel is very convenient to the shops at Rodney Bay and has an hourly shuttle service to it's sister resort which is on a nice beach. The service runs hourly from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. I stayed in the Suites which have a good little kitchen, separate lounge and bedroom and were nicely appointed for the price. They were at the other end of the building, so a little isolated for the solo traveler, but well lit corridors. There are lots of places to eat and a good I.G.A for provisioning in Rodney Bay and night life if you like.

smooth. only problem was the TV. very bad reception

Very good, outstanding comfort and service. It was great

Great place hotel was clean with friendly staff no issues.

We were expecting a lot more than what we got for what we paid. The 2 swimming pools were very tiny and the hot tub wasn't even working. One of the bars was closed and our view was of a hotel abandoned mid-construction. I spent part of my day locked in a bathroom by the pool and was rescued by a fellow guest not a staff member. And forget about printing your boarding pass...there's no printer connected to the computer that they allow guests to use. Its not the worst place we've ever been but not one of the best either. Stay at the Bay Gardens Resort. Its much nicer and the beach is right at your doorstep.

I booked a Standard Room and found it to be very adequate. It was spacious enough for 2 with a king sized bed, there was a mini fridge in the room also and the usual tea and coffee supplies. The room itself was very clean, the only issue was the shower which seemed to have a leak somewhere so water did settle at the bottom of the door. The location is fantastic as it is right next door to a large supermarket and other shopping facilities and restaurants. Another plus is the free shuttle which takes you to the Bay Gardens Beach Resort where you can enjoy the beach, water sports and hotel amenities. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for those on a budget looking to explore and enjoy the beautiful island of St.Lucia.

Great value for the price. Rooms were of similar quality of family owned hotels in Florida, while this is in a MUCH lesser developed country. Room was clean, no bugs inside but not well soundproofed from the chirping ones at night (rainforest country). Internet worked most of time. Rooms next to bar are less private/quiet. Good location close to shops and the tourist restaurants/bars. Utilized the pool during some of the days and it was peaceful/clean. The view at the Bay Gardens Resort beach down the road is incredible. Shuttle runs between them every hour, 15 min walk or $5 cab ride.

Just got back from an amazing holiday in St.Lucia. Bay Gardens Hotel has all the basic necessities: a clean bed & bath. The hotel has free wi-fi , its not the fastest, but I did use it to make calls on skype and it worked ok. The hotel is located very close to a supermarket and all rooms have a fridge. There is no safe in the room - I locked stuff in my luggage and it was fine. The advantage at staying at the hotel is you can use the shuttle service from the Bay Gardens Hotel to the Bay Gardens Beach Resort, thats right on the beach. The shuttle is not very reliable though. You can even walk , it is about 10 - 15 mins. At the beach resort just tell them you are from the hotel and they will give you a tag and you can use facilities at the resort like the beach chairs ! They have a Manager's Cocktail Party at the Resort for all Bay Gardens guests on Wednesday and at the hotel on Thursday. Free drinks and a good live band. Life in St. Lucia is very slow paced and no one is in a hurry, so you must not expect prompt service. I love the location of the hotel, it is close to the supermarket, the bank , the bus stop and rodney bay for restaurants. We hiked the Gros Piton, did some ziplining in Dennery at Treetop Adventure, rented a car and drove around the beautiful island and chilled at the beach with some rum punch! All in all it was an amazing holiday, met some nice people and had some good Lucian food!

Good location for shopping at Rodney Bay. Room was clean. AC did not work very well. Two of our party woke up with several bites from something. Taxi stand right outside the front.

I had the best time, the hotel was in a great location, less than 20 minute walk to the beach. The staff was helpful. The flexibility of staying at 1 and playing at 3 was the best feature, we were able to enjoy the spa and other amenitites at the resort. I have traveled and stayed at many different carribean islands but this by far was the best.

Nice place to stay and in a good location, staff are friendly but no information available for trip reservations we had to go to the resort to make trip reservations. Hotel need to have an agent or more updated information, also was unable to make a phone call without credit card. The bedding on the bed was not changed frequently enough.

We stayed here for one night prior to checking in at LeSport BodyHoliday. The purpose for this hotel was fulfilled, but I think a cheaper hotel would have fit the bill better. Too bad the cheaper hotels are hard to find on the Internet. Otherwise, the place was nice, clean, and friendly. Construction had us up pretty early, however.

My ten day stay at the hotel was a pleasant one. my main reason for the visit to St. Lucia was to rediscover the Island and the Bay garden hotel is in the perfect location. the main street where you can catch a minibus is just a few yards from the hotel, the mall is a short walk away and the beach is a five minute ride from the door.

The hotel was moderate although you can use facilities at bay Garden Beach Resort. Staff need to be more personable. They tried to charge me $40US each for breakfast my first morning, be sure to check rates on arrival or on the phone before you arrive like I did. Great location, nice walk to restaurants and cafes. All in all a good weekend for my daughter and I.

Bay Gardens Hotel was an excellent choice for us, as we are not beach people. The food and service were excellent, the rooms spotless and comfortable, and the gardens beautiful. We would stay there again.
