I loved it here. Best location on the island with direct access to the beach. Definitely recommend for a relaxing few days in the sun.

I enjoyed the hotel and my stay but upon arrival we got no packet. Told we had to meet with one of their staff the following morning for orientation. Orientation was a selling seminar on activities, etc. Found this frustrating based on what I spent. Once I got this behind me, I found the food very good, staff friendly and fantastic customer service. Note the hotel is lacking with the number of shaded areas, i.e., umbrellas at pool and beach. You had to get up early and mark your spot if you needed a covered area. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Food is pricey but the whole island is pricey so they weren't out of line with the norm in the area.

Great Place, Great Staff, Great Vacation! We enjoyed the location, the weather, the people, and there was excellent dining in the area. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. Rodney Bay is a Great place to stay. When we come back to St Lucia we will stay at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort Reduit Beach, Rodney Bay, Castries,

My husband and I stayed for the first time at the Bay Gardens Resort in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia. We loved the hotel location and the staff. I would recommend having the breakfast plan since everyday there was a new selection of breakfast goodies. We loved having the beach chairs and shade umbrellas always available. Our room on the 3rd floor, (no elevators) had a fantastic view of the bay and the marina. All the staff were friendly, professional and made us feel welcomed. They made us a yummy picnic lunch to take to Pigeon Island. The spa treatments were very relaxing. One of the highlights we enjoyed was the manager's cocktail hour and Caribbean buffet/show. The dancers were beautiful, the band played great songs and the atmosphere was perfect.

Really nice, friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is right next to a great beach. Stay was truly perfect.

Some of the most friendly staff in my forty years of travel - North America, Caribbean and Europe. We ere especially satisfied with the many activities available to guests -such choices and quality.

Hotel is clean, comfortable, and most beautiful beach on the island. Tons of great restaurants near by. We would definitely come back. Only complaint is the last night, the nightclub across the street was blaring, and I mean blaring the music until 1 am. We were in the room directly across the street. Really annoying. The spa was terrific, Beverly and Nadia were among the best. Food was very good. Peter at Hi Tide, cooked some fish we caught, excellent meal. I would avoid using Cox Tours unless you like the heard mentality. just not for us. Walk down to Maries at the end of the beach. You can meet up with others and get better personal excursions.

Staff was impeccable and atmosphere was perfect! Perfect place to do as much or as little as you want!

Great hotel !! Would definitely stay there again. The staff was absolutely the best. Penny, our concierge, was excellent. She took care of every request we had 24/7. Very nice pool. Nice beach. They provide beach chairs and security personnel on the beach to help control the beach vendors. Pool restaurant, which has very good food, serves on the beach. An easy walk to many other restuarants, nightclubs and supermarket. Hotel can arrange excursions. Overall a great place to stay.

I went to Bay Gardens during the busy season and, given the very reasonable price I paid, I was very pleasantly surprised by how big the bedroom and bathroom were, how clean everything was and how nice the staff was. The beach is beautiful too.

The hotel is probably the newest, and most up to date hotel on Reduit Beach. The staff members are very friendly. The beach is very nice. We had a pool view suite, third floor, which is also an ocean view. The suite was very spacious. My son and his wife and two children stayed at a sister hotel (Bay View Hotel), and our suite was large enough that they stayed at our room and the beach most of the day, and just went back to their room to sleep.

The hotel was about equivalent to a Holiday Inn but located on the beach. The shower fixtures were really cheap. My conditioner bottle was half-filled with water when I opened it... I'm doubting it was manufactured like that so I'm guessing they just reuse half-used items for the next guest. The food at the resort was horrible and expensive. The best part about the hotel was the location - it was within walking distance to many other restaurants. The beach and pool were nice, but the locals bothered you to buy things on the beach constantly and the security at the hotel was not great about making them leave you alone. There were really no activities that actually took place, but this may have been because no one liked to stay at the resort... The worst experience we had at the hotel was when my husband and I were invited for a "breakfast to talk about your experiences at the resort," which ended up being a 2 hour presentation on time-shares. Then the person giving the presentation was angry at my husband and I for agreeing to breakfast but being interested in the timeshares. Overall it was a very mediocre hotel that definitely does not deserve it's 4 star rating.

The staff, food, location and pool are the best. We had an awesome relaxing stay. The sandy beach is convenient and was not crowded. The pool was large, clean and so enjoyable. The staff will go out of their way to get you what you want and make your stay perfect. Try the spa and ask for Nadia or Tessa. We loved our ground level pool view room. The flowers are beautiful!

I stayed at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort recently for a short stay and enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay here again. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The shower was large and had good water pressure. The room had a nice balcony, with a partial water view. We didn't have any problem with noise from other rooms or from outside the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located directly on Reduit Beach, on one end of it. The beach is very pretty and there are plenty of lounge chairs for hotel guests. The pool is large and was very quiet when we were there, and pool area has plenty of lounge chairs as well. There are lots of couches and rocking chairs scattered around the main area of the resort. We at in the Hi Tide restaurant twice, and the food was fine but nothing special. The setting right on the beach was nice though. There are a number of restaurants in Rodney Bay within walking distance, and the mall is also, though a slightly longer walk.

Bay Gardens Beach Resort is ideally located for those who don't want to feel like prisoners at their resorts. It's right on Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay, has a nice pool and is easy walking distance to town where there are many fine restaurants and THREE supermarkets for those who don't want to eat out every meal. There's also two shopping malls and a casino in town. You can also walk along the beach from one end to another for exercise. The travel desk helped us arrange a great sight seeing trip via catermaran to the botancial gardens and the volcano. Which ever company you choose we felt it was far superior than the land route. My only complaint is that the hotel didn't offer shuttle service to and from the airport which is a one and a half hour trip by taxi and quite expensive. Overall, the people on the island are very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We stayed a total of two weeks at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort. For Rodney Bay this was the nicest resort in the area. Great location being right on the beach and a short walk to town. We had a few small hiccups in our stay involving food and some room issues but the staff went well above our expectations to correct them and made our stay very enjoyable. Every Wednesday they have a Managers Cocktail that was wonderful. Also the best Jerk Chicken on the Island in our opinion. Every drink we had at the bar and we tried a few were all great. Thanks a bunch to Berthia and the great staff!

Very warm & friendly staff. Great location. Good food. Met all of our expectations.

The hotel location is excellent, right on the beach and close to all the restaurants and clubs in Rodney Bay. Wonderful restaurant at poolside and on the beach. The staff is very professional and exceptionally friendly. The rooms are clean and nice for the price. This is a winner, and we shall return.

Everyone at the hotel was incredibly kind and welcoming. It was nice to see everyone smiling all the time. The ocean was gentle and welcoming and the sun and heat was awesome. Pigeon Island is a short drive or boat ride away. Land and Sea tour by the Hotel's Water Sports was a fun excursion to the Pitons, mud baths and waterfalls. Cox Travel is their excursion provider and we had a great experience with their coordinator and they were honest. This made for fun ziplining in the rainforest for us! Make sure to go check out the fort there. Mangos are pleantiful nearby and so are other uncommon tropical fruits. By the mall on your left handside closests to the bus is a little old lady selling mangos and fruits on the streets. Make sure to buy from her and not the boat passing the resort. The little old lady is cheaper more generous and has more options. The hotel has nightly entertainment and the breakfast buffet is a MUST. Go out on the Friday night Jump UP excursion to the part of town where the locals have a street party. Plenty of fun and local foods. Word of caution: Income gap is wide and folks will approach you rather aggressively for cash on the street. Do not be afraid to say no and they should leave you alone. Hotel was a great location and I would return for the high quality of service, kind staff and beautiful location.

Stayed as a single for a wedding at another resort. Beautiful swimming pool and sweet hot tub. Could use a few more amenities and nicer laundry facility, ice machines, etc. Hotel staff is friendly and accomodating. Beach is peaceful, although not the prettiest I've seen. Surrounding landscape is nice though. Be sure to get a room with a fridge and microwave so you can store your groceries. Overall great Caribbean experience!
