St. Louis City Center Hotel

Hotel was close to everything downtown and the shuttle was great for trips beyond walking distance.

The hotel was a nice to place to stay in the city. The rooms were big and comfortable. The bar and cafe were nice as well as the rooftop pool, patio, and fitness room. The elevators were a little slow. Overall a great experience.

Came in for a few Cardinals games, easy 10 min walk to the stadium. The room was a bit dusty, but there was a sign posted out front upon arrival letting us know that it was due to the construction of the new Metrolink station, they are redoing. Which if you are wanting to stay downtown, the stop is right across from entrance of the hotel, which was very convenient. We will stay here again when we come back.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Busch Stadium. No other reason. It certainly wasn't because it was a great place to stay. Our suite was dark and dingy. The carpet was dirty and in need of cleaning but I'm not sure it had even been vacuumed. Sorry, I'm not a complainer but I would have expected more for the money.

No water in water fountains Very few lights in hallways Used drinks left in fridge No sheets for pull out bed $200 deposit not made aware of beforehand Elevator run down Pen was chewed up in room to use Walls and carpet in room was dirty Snack area near check in bare No safe in room Indoor pool not heated Hot tub boarded up and closed Drawers of dresser broken Emergency phone in pool area didnt work Out of towels at pool

We had to change rooms twice due to freeway noise (very loud!), but staff was very nice about this. The room we ended up in was not thoroughly cleaned (stuff in drawers, not vacuumed, stains on the window curtain, etc.). The hot tub was closed. And staff didn't give us a heads up a window washer would appear in our 7th floor window as I was getting ready in the morning (the noise and sight of a person there startled me!).

Rooms was clean and spacious. Bar was good. Breakfast buffet was cold.

This place was great. Very close to Scott trade arena, quiet, and clean. I was very pleased. Towels were only 2 and small. We brought our own to use based on previous reviews. It exceeded my expectations. Perfectly adequate hotel stay, especially for the price.

This hotel is proximate to sports venues and is OK. The view of the arch from my room was nice. That said, the TV remote was missing. The towels were only ok and the shower pressure was puny.

Our first room smelled of pot and beer. The front desk was great and changed us. The 2nd room was ok - door did not lock well, stains on carpet, dirt on walls and we received a sheet for the pullout couch. There was no bedding available. The staff felt bad, but they couldn't work anything out. The pool however was great for the kids! The self-parking was $17 and came in handy to walk around downtown.

We stayed in a suite for a family of 5. There were no extra sheets provided for the pull out bed, only 2 towels, 1 bar of soap for a room that can sleep 5. 1 phone was broke, there was coffee maker but no coffee pot, and a couple outlets were not "live"/working My son found garbage under the bed, and other food trays were left in the hallway for the entire weekend we stayed.

Started with the requested early check-in was not available. Room was nasty - mold in the shower, uncomfortable bed and pillows. Room service failed to make the bed (unless I specifically asked at the front desk), left me without towels. Prostitute tried to pick me up in the hotel bar. Not the greatest area. Totally not like the pictures or reviews. Very disappointing. Never staying there again.

Public transit was a priority for my visit. city trolley tour bus and light rail line stop across the street. Beautiful pool and best exercise room ever. Like those in a 5 star hotel. Very safe and secure entrance and property. Excellentr restaurant and lounge. Front desk staff was outstanding by offering to ship me an item home that I left behind in my room. I loved everything about this hotel.

The hotel looked cold and rusty as though it has not been well maintained. Things like grout, paint chips, subtle minor things that a customer would notice. Other than that it was perfectly

Nice hotel for a quick weekend trip. Big rooms and close to the Scottrade Center. Had a lot of amenities a traveler would look for. Hotel needs updated, though. Rooms are a little worn and lobby could do much better. Needs to make better use of the proximity to the arena with additional bars, restaurants, places to pick up a bite.

Great location for our visit to St. Louis for a Blues game, nice hotel at reasonable price. Would definitely stay again

The first thing we noticed was the jankyness of the elevators. Poorly maintained. The lady at the desk checked us in early and was very nice. We went into the suite. Do not be fooled by the pictures. It looked nothing like it, not even close. There were cracker crumbs all I've the floor. Stains everywhere, on the floor and curtains. The bathroom was dirty, hairs everywhere. The place looked like it had just had a bachelor party held in it. OK, so maybe we checked in early and the staff hadn't cleaned the room yet? Called to get our room changed. Went down to the desk and got the new keys. The next room was cleaner and had fewer stains. There were just two towels, so I called for two more, as we were a party of four. This was at 1pm. We didn't get the towels until 10:30! A knock on the door, I answer. There is a woman standing there off to the side. She thrusts the towels at me and says, "here" under her breath. She takes off before I even have hold of the towels, and only because I had a moment when my reflexes were good did I not drop them. The next day we head to the pool upstairs. Again, the pictures look great. The pool is a run down sad affair. Oh, and there were no towels, just am empty wire shelf with a sign that read, "One towel per guest please." We called from my cell, due to their not being a house phone up there, for some towels. They arrived within the hour. Only plus is it is right next to Scottrade Center.

It's walking distance from Scott Trade and Ball Park Village!

The big things were all in place: location, ambiente, friendly receptionists, and room size & cleanliness. It's the little things that the City Center Hotel needs to work on: (Caffeinated) coffee only for one person is lame. Breakfast delivered without toast is annoying; by the time they finally delivered the toast, we were done with breakfast.

Very nice hotel at a good price during the off season. Liked the location, worked well for s short visit
