The hotel continues to get shabbier and customer service is bad at best. I asked for an early check in. One would think that since checkout time is 11 a.m. that an early check in requested room would have been serviced first. The staff never speaks "with a smile" in their voice. The hotel continues to get more and more run down - threadbare carpetts, holes in upholstery, etc.
Overall quite good. A place or two in the carpeting and furniture were a bit worn.

The property is in general “nice”. It has painting and general carpentry needs all around. Columns and trim work, door facings and trim……all dirty and need cleaning and paint.
This was the worst hotel that we’ve ever experienced. First, they give you a long list of rules that you have to initial and agree to. They also charge you a large damage deposit. All of this would be bearable if we hadn’t gotten to the room and immediately smelled marijuana smoke coming through the vents. This smell lasted our entire 2 night stay. The vinyl couch had holes ripped in it, a ramen noodle was sitting in the coffee maker and one of the bathrooms smelled like dirty feet. They offer you a “complimentary breakfast” in a bag which includes a granola bar, a muffin and a bottle of water. You have to go pick up your food bag at the front desk. We didn’t even bother. When I called the front desk the first evening at around 9:30 pm to make sure I wasn’t going to be charged for the rips and holes in the couch, the person who answered the phone sounded upset that I had called. If all the area hotels weren’t already booked, we would have left. Don’t stay at this hotel. We’ve stayed at other Sonesta hotel suites and they were nice. This one is not.
Next time I won't stay off the courtyard as other guest use the courtyard late into the night and you can hear them inside the room.
Great property and front desk staff. Very clean, appreciated the full kitchen. Was surprised by the $250 deposit to insure rules are followed. Would stay again, very good experience.
The suite was clean and comfortable. The suite had everything we needed (fridge, stove, 2 tvs, ample seating) to make us feel just like we were home!
There were bed bugs!!! And no running hot water!!! They also didn’t provide us with the proper amount of towels
It wasn’t as clean as I expected it to be. The first room we got had a really strong odor so they were nice enough to give us a new room. The dishes were still dirty in the new room, but I just let the dishwasher run. Also, the dining area seemed old But the bedrooms were really nice.

I had a problem with my room and the night clerk Aaron really helped and solved my problem. Thank you Aaron. The down side is the hard floor in both rooms were unswept. Request was made for housekeeping and the person literally ran the vacuum through these middle of the room. The stove was dusty also. This property has potential, but housekeeping needs to improve. Thanks to Aaron and his service we enjoyed our stay.
