Property is very well decorated and staff is good. could use a personal coffee maker in each room and house keeping could be better. no trash can liners in cans, bad streaking on tv and mirriors and they need to scrub in the corners of the bathroom tiles. Overall stay was good@ great location!!

I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance to the Fox Theater. The staff was friendly and the room was quiet and nicely decorated. However, the bed was not as comfortable as it was a thin foam mattress over a box spring on a platform bed. I also chose this location because it was advertised as having a bar in the hotel. After the show at the Fox, my husband and I went to the Triumph Lounge for a post show cocktail only to find out that they close at 10pm. The Lounge is connected to the hotel, but it is a separate business. I also thought that the hotel offered a free breakfast. They supply coffee, but the breakfast is a separate fee. My husband and I could have stayed at another hotel that cost less and offered a bar and free breakfast. I only chose this one because it was close to our event. For the money we paid, I would like to see a few more perks.

Awesome staff... our first room smelled damp and musty; they moved us right away with a smile. The second room smelled fine, but there were some kind of ink stains all over the carpet. The layout of the rooms make me think the building used to be SLU dorms. It’s kind of a neat hotel - the restaurant, Baiku, was excellent - but this is not the place for us.

Me and my friends would definitely come back! Thank you for all do

Thank you for your feedback. I am truly sorry about the issue with your first room but glad to hear my staff was able to switch you! The carpet is a tough match. Sadly when the hotel was designed they utilized very light colored carpeting so anytime the smallest thing is spilled it is extremely visible. But I can assure you we clean our carpets once a month. Glad you also enjoyed Baiku, we'll be sure to pass along the kind words!
