Right after Christmas, this was a late trip to the airport in St Louis. Since this is no near the major casinos in the area, I figured they would be booked full, but maybe even casinos have off-seasons. Anyway, we just wanted to stop driving on a cold night. The hotel is very close to the exit from I-70, but the sign by the road was not lit - I just happened to catch a glimpse of it. Taking the next right turn, I found a back entrance to the motel a few blocks down. While that was annoying, it was probably just an oversight, or a fresh malfunction. The hotel itself was very good. Regular friendly folks working the evening shift, and we were settled in quickly. Clean, quiet, a good place after a long, tiring day. I would easily go there again. Price was right for us, too; in fact, I was surprised the room did not cost more. This is a good place to try if you are driving through.
We stayed here for a wedding and it is in the perfect location if the reception is at Heart of St. Charles. It is also a great location for anything around the St. Charles area. Rooms are very nice and spacious, breakfast is good and the rate was reasonable. Only complaint would be there is a little traffic noise if you are on the I-70 side of the hotel.
The staff is amazing and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and spectacular. Over the past couple of years I have had to make a stop over in Saint Louis and I have stayed here. Every time I stop by Hendricks BBQ for dinner and enjoy a good night's sleep before going on my way. My dog Patrick loves it there!
A friend and I stayed at this St. Charles, MO. hotel and found it to be a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast selection was very good and fresh. Would recommend this hotel to others. The room faced I-70 and the road noise was noticeable but not a real problem. There is some renovation going on but that was not a problem either.
This exit off I-70 eastbound is closed due to construction, so plan accordingly. There is also construction going on in some of the rooms. It didn't really interfere too much as I was up and out of the room a little early, but if you're planning on sleeping in late it may be a problem.
Nice lobby and good sized rooms. We shared a triple before setting out on the Katy trail. The rooms were clean, but the shower rod was broken and the water got on the floor. The "hot" breakfast was not very good (luke warm at best). They served bacon and eggs in addition to "you make em waffles" and the usual array that hotels now have.
Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the hallways were very quiet and the breakfast was very good. Staff at front desk was very friendly and accommodating. I do think they were still in the process of remodeling but it really wasn't bad. My only complaint was that there was only one elevator which was very slow and I think if you tried to leave at peak time, it might take a while.
Comfort suites is my preferred hotel chain. The staff is always pleasant and willing to help. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. They are always conveniently located near good restaurants and shopping. I have stayed in overly pretentious hotels, that charge high rates for average lodgings. Comfort suites standards are high, yet they have a very inviting atmosphere.
This hotel was wonderful. Taxi service 1/2 block away and the front desk people were very nice! Out room was huge, plenty of room to spread out! Ordered pizza and had it delivered right to the room! Will definitely stay here again
There was road construction at the interstate ramp closest to the hotel. That made getting there a bit of a challenge. The hotel lobby was under construction. It was a disruptive. The quality of the construction was questionable. The pool area is tiny! The coffee maker in the breakfast room didn't work. Our room was never cleaned while we were there for two nights. No clean towels were offered. I would think twice before staying there again.
