the room were clean and comfortable. nice restaurant next door. beautiful views and very quite my dog loved the snow. it was about 28 degrees below o. the only issue I had was that the key card kept failing.
We stayed the night here while we visited a relative. The rooms were very clean and staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable and showers were warm. We ordered food from the restaurant and they delivered right to the door. This was a great place to stay and the lake was beautiful even covered in snow.
My wife & I live in Ottawa. We decided to stay local to the Ogdensburg airport before an early morning (December 21st) flight on Allegiant to Florida. It was a great idea. Clearly this is a summer oriented motel along the seaway waterfront, but it was ideal for our purpose. The adjoining restaurant served up a great dinner. Room was quiet and overlooked the cold St Lawrence River. It was ideal for our purpose. 5 minutes to the airport. We plan on returning for a stay in the summer time.
Being a Quality Inn, I did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised. This was a spacious comfortable room with a private deck. The beds were nice size and very comfortable. The room was also supplied with a microwave/ fridge and Keurig coffee. There is an on-site restaurant/ bar that I did not have time to check out but seemed reasonably priced according to the in-room menu. It also had a large tv with plenty of channels to choose from. Check in was easy and the gentleman at the desk was very pleasant. Over all it was a very nice overnight stay.
We stopped here on the way home to Canada. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with great views of the water. We had a nice room with a balcony which would be great in the summer time. Was a little chilly to sit out there by the time we reached the hotel. The room was well equipped as others have said, and was also nice to have a Keurig machine in the room. The breakfast is served in the Restaurant next door, and has everything to get the day started. After driving all day it was so nice to have the restaurant next door, Even though the restaurant seemed like fine dinning , we did have a great hamburger there. A very nice front desk clerk. Our tv didn't work when we got in the room and she came right down and got it going for us. Very friendly. The border to Canada is just down the road. A great hotel to stay at.!!!!
This was a very pleasant surprise. I stopped here overnight, after leaving Montreal late and not wanting to drive all the way to Syracuse. The "continental breakfast" is much better than this term usually implies. Overall the property is nicely landscaped and very pleasant.
Very warm welcome at check in. Our king room was large with a separate dressing area and bathroom. Clean and comfortable. We sat on the balcony looking out over the St Lawrence and watched the sun go down. Basic breakfast, but all that we needed to set us up for the day.
The room was lovely, clean had a refrigerator, microwave ,coffee pot. On the St. Lawrence River with a beautiful view and chairs outside our room to enjoy. Close to our friends camp and nice places to eat in the area. Price of the room was reasonable. Will be returning there again.
Waking up in the morning to a view of the river is awesome and to be able to keep the door to the balcony open all night for fresh air was the best. The staff are kind and courteous and go out of their way for you. Have been here twice and will always come here when were up in this area.
This hotel and restaurant is amazing! The restaurant consistently surpasses expectations and the evening fare is best described as fine dining with service to match and for mornings a bountiful breakfast buffet is offered. The hotel's grounds and landscape and river view are absolutely stellar and I had a room with a patio/porch facing the river. The amount of river frontage and social gathering areas are consistent with what one would find at most large resort hotel properties. All located on the St. Lawrence river seaway just minutes from a bridge to Canada. The room attendant who introduced herself as Amy did a phenomenal job and as I stayed here for a week it seemed she was anticipating my likes and dislikes when it came to making up the room. This was a return visit for me and so I am now convinced that the wonderful experience I had previously is common and consistently delivered here. I highly recommend!!
