Having to walk completely thru the whole property because the second enrtance was taped off. Stinking of cigarette smoke. Dirty blankets. Worn out mattresses. Leaking shower heads spraying into holes in the walls. Bathroom fan was extremely loud and didnt even exhaust steam. I could go on and on....

These are affordable and right for the money. They could use updating badly, but nothing was unacceptable. This is not a resort 5-star hotel, not even a 3-star nice hotel. It's something that gets you through the days with a place to go and sleep, cook food, shower, and in general be able to live at a fair rate. The rooms could really use an update, however! I've managed several large updates on my homes, so I would do the following: Rip up carpet. Remove all wallpaper that has been painted over and apply any patches required for a smooth finish. Remove all of the ikea furniture -- sell it or donate to Goodwill. Install fresh new carpet after new paint on all room. Replace air conditioning units with energy star versions -- bank on a tax credit or deduction and reduce ops costs. Consider updating the floor registers for appearance. Buy a 40" flat screen minimal for each room -- donate/throw away old 25" projectile tubes. Replace carpet. Tile where appropriate with a new, updated subway or similar idea to match carpet patterns. Replace all bedding. Replace all couches. Add chair with a kick-out ie lazy boy style. Have electrician come through and reservice your electrical outlets to the layout you've planned. Move where appropriate. Ensure all outlets are slightly protruding from a "flush" fit so plugs and power packs actually stay plugged in and do not "wobble" out of the electrical sockets when attached. Also have electrician add cut-out ceiling LED lights.

When I booked a room at Adirondack Efficiencies in Watertown, N.Y. I indicated that I needed an accessible bathroom with a roll in shower & accessible room. I GOT NEITHER! And this is after speaking with an ORBITZ representative & being assured that this is what I'd be getting. As a disabled person, I'M APPALED that ORBTZ or this motel is hard-up enough to FRAUDULENTLY SELL a room under FALSE PRETENSES to a disabled person with the needs I indicated just to make a fast buck. Your practice of TOTAL DECEPTION ruined our vacation. I'm more than sure that NONE OF MY COMMENTS WILL MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE TO YOU WHATSOEVER. However, I'm going to make sure that I TELL EVERYONE I CAN about the ROTTEN DEAL we received from ORBITZ & this hotel. WE WILL NEVER BE DEALING WITH ORBITZ OR THIS HOTEL AGAIN!
