Stayed 10 days and loved it. We had a suite with partial ocean few. There was a nice porch on the front with a great view,my wife and I ate breakfast there every morning. The room was clean and the house keeper came every day.Timothy has a nice beach with crystal clear water.Everyone that worked at the reception desk at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

Good, I enjoyed my stay, I have nothing else to say.

Quick check in, friendly helpful staff, room was clean and cleaned every day. Location to beach is super. Frigate Bay is great area to snorkel and next to many beach bars.

If we paid motel price, then this place would get more stars. If we paid 150 a night, I expected at least the basics. We stayed for three nights and were glad it's not more. The front desk couldn't find our reservation when we checked in on Christmas eve. They could only find our cancellation for a longer stay. Then they finally found our reservation through this site. Since they didn't have a room ready for us, it took a little time to freshen up the room. But when we got to our room, I found hair and some stain on the toilet seat. I cleaned it myself with an alcohol wipe. The room doesn't have a kitchen but the size was fine. It had a king size mattress, on top of two twin size box springs. One side of the mattress was hanging out because it's bigger than the box springs combined underneath. The box springs jet out and sometimes would slide out of place. There were a lot of ants in the bathroom but I seemed to find this in other beach locations. Even though our room was far from the restaurants and faces the hill, we could still hear bass drums late at night which kept me awake for two nights. We didn't care about the small TV as we weren't there to watch it, but they don't provide any shampoo. I usually pack some left over shampoo from other hotels (travel size) and never got to use them because it's provided. This was the only time I ran short because we stayed in a private villa on Nevis the nights before. A resort that doesn't provide shampoo? The "resort" itself is located at one end of the bay, and the beach was not very wide. The water was not very clean the days we were there probably because the wind brought in some slimy things. I gave this place two stars because the front desk staff were very nice when we checked in. However since it was Christmas, the reception room was locked up most of the time, and after one day, the phone in our room didn't have any ringtone any more.

We rented a one bedroom, beach view suite for 6 nights. It was spacious and very nice (Unit 29). It had a beautifully tiled bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and the furniture was high quality rattan - in fact it looked brand new. The only complaint would be the bed and pillows - very uncomfortable. The pillows were lumpy and hard. The "king" bed was two rickety twin beds pushed together. The location is awesome. We didn't rent a car so we walked everywhere. The hotel's restaurant has really good food and large portions. The pool area is very nice and much bigger than the web site showed. There are cafe/bars all along the Caribbean beach. The Atlantic beach is a ten minute walk, with restaurants and shops along the way. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. I would highly recommend the Timothy Beach Hotel.

Hotel location was only 15 min from the airport which is good if you are tired. The Room was very clean and the staff very friendly. The grounds were emaculate and just a short walk away was a convenience store which carried a good variety of everyday needs. I was pleasantly surprised. There is as well a small shopping mall with restaurants and for browsing. We thought the room could do with a bit of an upgrade though, as it did not include a safe and decorations a bit outdated. Personal items of value would have to be taken to the office for safe keeping. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful especially at sunset. All in all for the price it was good. Please be sure to take the island tour. Ask for Uncle Millie for transportation and site seeing. He is the best!!

Great place.Don't tell anyone! quiet and peaceful with all the best food, choices and sandy beach!

The location was perfect for a real St Kitts experience. The hotel is right on one of the most beautiful beaches in St Kitts. Walking distence to many food, bar and coffee spots. The room was cleaned daily with fresh sheets. The smell of bleach on the sheets and in the bathroom is comforting to the germ wary traveler. The best sunset happy hour bar on the island!

Great for the price and good location. Pool wasnt open but you are literally right on the beach.

The hotel itelf could use some updating but the hotel staff MORE than made up for that! Everyone was unbelievably hospitable in every single way and we would recommend Timothy Beach Resort to everyone! The location was also perfect-right on the beach-had an incredible time!!

I will recommend, very quiet and relax place to stay.

We like this hotel !!! 2nd floor ocean view kitchen lots of local entertainment (walking distance)

This was a good hotel for the price. It is an older hotel but the room was clean, spacious and adequately appointed. We had a nice balcony with table and lounge chairs and a beautiful view of the Caribbean. We got a king bed, as we requested, but the mattress was too firm. There was a small refrigerator in the room and good TV reception. The beach area was nice with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. We only ate at the restaurant one night because it took over 3 hours to get through dinner. Service was extremely slow and the food was just ok though the servers were very courteous. The hotel is right next to "the strip" so if you're looking for nightlife that's where it is on the island. Overall, I would recommend this hotel because of it's location, comfort and very reasonable rates. I would definitely stay there again--but I'll bring my own hair dryer.

I was only there staying for 2 nights for business, it was a large, clean comfortable room with a balcony with an ocean view on the top floor - good room. The location right on the beach is great. Few frills though - no shampoo/conditioner, and a water saving shower head that doesn't work that well. There is free, relatively fast wifi, which is great. Breakfast is good, if a bit expensive ($10 USD). The beach bar is easy going, pretty mellow, and has good drinks (avg. $6 USD for mixed drinks). There were a mix of people around the hotel - some families with kids, and some 20-30 something couples, and some more elderly couples. The taxi from the airport was about $12-15 USD. There is always a taxi out front during the day and evening, as there are a few beach bars immediately next door. Mr. X's Shiggety Shack is supposed to have generally good food, and my lobster was pretty decent, if also a bit spendy - $33 USD.

Had a great time and would return to St. Kitts again. Although it looks like in the future their going to ruin the island. Their going to put in a Marina and a lot of house's where the island is natural and beautiful. Thought the snorkeling was pretty good. Saw Turtles, Eel, Squid. Favorite spot to snorkel and favorite beach was Shipwreck. Went on a 7 hr sail trip thru Leeward Island Charters. Had a great time. Only 12 people on our boat. Unlimited drinks, snorkel and grilled beach lunch at Nevis. Went to Brimstone Fortress. Very pretty. We liked Timothy Beach a lot. Would definately get ocean front rooms, if you like to sit and relax on a big balcony. The only negative thing we can say was that we were located second room from the beach and the music went on 2 nights till 4 AM. Did not get good sleep. So maybe we would ask for a room that was the farthest back from the beach. Would probably not rent a car for the whole trip. Maybe a couple of days, otherwise I think taxi's would be cheaper. Also, did not like at almost every beach the locals would ask if you wanted an aloe massage. Wanted to relax and left alone.

Stayed for 4 nights as a stop off on the way to Nevis. Hotel was older, but clean, thus the budget rates. We weren't looking for the comforts of the local Mariott, but were extremely disappointed in the ROCK HARD beds. We changed rooms in an attempt to correct the situation, gained a better view, but still a rock hard bed. The resturant was fairly expensive compared to the local alternatives, and my husband ended up with food posioning the first night from their fish & chips. Needless to say he was down for 3 of the 4 days, and we chose to eat at Shiggiddy's next door as much as possible. We'll be paying the extra for the Marriott on the return trip, even though we prefer smaller environments, if for no other reason than a decent bed.

We rented a car and drove around the island looking for a nice beach to relax and hang-out on We arrived at St kitts after a hurricane and all the beaches were rough After 3 days and 5 beaches we discovered the best beach was in our own back yard( Timothy's own beach) calm, super clear and great for snorkeling or just people watching and getting a little sun! take sun screen and bug spray

Timothy Beach resort is a little off the beaten track but we soon found that it was the "place to be" for a true experience. In fact, people from near-by resorts flocked to this beach area for the night-life. We could walk the beach and visit a variety of Tiki bars along the way. These little establishments were open any time of day or night and offered meals, as well. We did not rent a car but found that catching a taxi or joining a tour was very easy if we wanted to see some sites.

There is no other location on St. Kitts as good as this one. However, in 5 days, our room was only cleaned once and we had to beg for towels and toilet paper. Adjoining restaurant was good, but expensive. Some staff were very friendly, but others were downright rude. Hotel does not plan activities for you or even help you, but we figured out our own. It was worth staying here, but next time (if) I would insist upon the room cleaning, etc. Good place if you don't get upset about the service. Atmosphere on beach with locals and music every night was great!

Really nice laid back place to stay with great ocean and sunset views. Perfect location. Friendly staff. Beach bar and restaurant next-door -great lobster, shrimp and bbq ribs! Nightlife, island music etc wonderful!
