Lots of construction work being done so one restaurant closed. Recently updated areas of hotel noted. Room had some mold on ceiling and lots of water in the closet. Also a distinct moldy smell in room. Hotel unwilling to extend check out time as we had a later flight, however not a big issue. Staff very friendly. Not a lot of night time entertainment other than the casino. Overall nice hotel

We wondered why we were getting charged 8.95 a day for wifi. The staff confirmed it was because we were orbitz customers. Having said that, the hotel waived the charges, but it was annoying nonetheless.the positives about this property; big rooms, plenty to do, good location on the beach. The negatives were our orbitz room had no view to speak of, the lobby was under construction and the litter was not picked up as well as it could've been.

When we get there they supposedly upgrade our room but although the room was comfortable, there was No view, only to the parking. The hotel was under renovations. The reception personnel was attentive and helpful.

Every Marriott person I encountered was friendly , courteous and eager to be of assistance. The place is nice , but the people make the place.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating (I especially remember Noelle, Craig, Caulton, Lapsley and Cjaye).

Clean hotel, very friendly staff. Swim up bar with different activities everyday like trivia, yoga, pool volleyball etc. No real island type restaurants so you'll have to walk 10-15 min to timothy beach on the strip for restaurants with local food. The bfast at calypso restaurant is expensive go to Rituals instead. Easy walking to Cathy's, Boozies, Sunset cafe (bfast and dinner) and other bars and live music areas. Safe neighborhood. You can't really swim at the beach there because it's on the Atlantic side but it's about a $20+ taxi ride to surrounding beaches. Beautiful views. Casino downstairs, different dinner and drink specials at the hotel. Fun time!

business meeting- we had dinner at 2 of the restaurants as a group and I visited the steak house on the ground floor. All were excellent-much better than average hotel restaurants.

Stayed at the Marriott for nearly a week in mid-February 2017. Overall, the hotel is on par with expectations for a large brand-name property - multiple eateries and a couple of stores on premises, can easily sign for all the extras, pleasant staff members work hard, but some issues slip through the cracks. For example, our room was very spacious and the crew did a very solid job keeping it clean. However, bedding and towels appeared a bit dated and the air conditioning unit was on the noisier side.

Sorry...I don't know how this hotel got such a high rating...needs refurbishing...roaches in bathroom. The staff was really excellent...but it didn't make up for the rest.

We had a great time in St Kitts. The Marriott was a great place to stay. The pools were great and the beach was nice also. We heard that the beach was too rough to swim in but that was not the case. There was some seaweed but not bad. Overall the beaches in St Kitts and Nevis were nice but not as nice as the Virgin Islands. The food at the Marriott was a little pricey but good. There are other food options nearby too.

Upgraded room with balcony at a price. Noisy at night from other tenants. No free wifi. Room was comfortable and made up everyday. Balcony was a hazard on wet days with bare feet. Should be a warning about slippery tiled floors when wet. Pools were clean and inviting, not overcrowded. Major miss was no shuttle from/to airport. Food was good but very expensive. Pizza was great and a good deal. Phone did not work and it took a day to fix. We got this through a deal so it was reasonable, otherwise a bit expensive. Great ocean beach!

Came to the hotel for a conference. Staff was amazing. Toured the whole island while we were there. Wish the rooms had Free Wi-Fi

My experience at the St. Kitts Marriot was amazing !!! The service was wonderful, the room was comfortable and clean. I most enjoyed my time on the beach and the service.

Hotel is located near the beach. Oceanview is great, as long as you are near the top floor, otherwise view is blocked by huts. Beach itself has a lot of washed up seaweed, but Marriott staff does a good job cleaning it up each day. There are 3 swimming pools, so crowding there is not an issue. There are several restuarants on property and others nearby. The Marriott staff was very pleasant and helpful with any questions. Overall experience was great and I would recommend the hotel to everyone.

It is amazing and beautiful. The staff at the bars could speed up a little. We did minimal eating on site, but the pizza bar by the pool was very reasonable priced. We didn't quite understand what we would spend in taxis to get into town. The best thing you can do is do your research on the scooters. You pay to license, but that's only once and then it's the more affordable mode of transportation. We walked ALOT as the taxis will eat you alive.

Only issue was with the Royal Grill. Ate there twice during my stay. First time it was great. Second time waited 45 minutes for the cold appetizers. Ended up getting 3 tomato slices for $9 and 3 Beet slices for $11. Hot food took an hour and 45 minutes to hit the table. Management needs to correct this problem. All other restaurants where excellent !

It's a nicely located hotel, right on the beach, and an easy walk up to the beautiful hilly southern peninsula.

Very nice hotel! Very large and many different buildings to accomodate guests. Nice amenities! Pools were very crowded and hard to get a chair if not there early. Nice beach ! Enjoyed walking. Beautiful views!

We had a wonderful stay on the beautiful island of St. Kitts. Only complaint is the service. Staff can be rude and make you feel like you need to apologize when you ask for something. If this hotel can step up their service, would be 4 stars.
