I spent two weekends here. It is a very reasonable price. The decor is quite dated,, but maintained fairly well. The bed in the first weekend room was very briken in and way too soft for me. The pillows were good. Glad to have a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Microwave was available 24 hours in breakfast room. They did stock soaps, etc. I found hairs in the shower. The continental breakfast was not very good, but it is free. Some milk, juice, yogurt, cereal, muffins, toast, and a bad attempt at biscuits and gravy. Second weekend I went from the smallest room in the hotel to the largest suite with a free upgrade (I guess it was random). Huge room., though again very dated. I Do Wish to give kudos to the staff. The evening person was very helpful and worked through some reservation issues with Orbitz. She was responsive to all my requests. The Friday afternoon employee on my 2nd check-in was also very friendly. I dont mean to gripe too much. Again, the cost was very low and certainly reasonable for what you get. For cost savings, I would stay again. I felt safe, and the second bed was quite comfitable.
While I'm quite sure we booked a room with a queen bed, the person checking us in asked if a full-sized bed would be all right. We agreed, but are now wondering if it would have cost less for the room with the full-sized bed. Since it was a pre-paid reservation, we had no way of checking. When we went to our room it was very cold, prompting us to turn up the heating unit. It took quite a while for the room to become comfortable and the unit turned off and on throughout the night making it difficult to get a good night's rest. The door to the bathroom didn't shut properly and there was no stopper in the sink. For someone like myself who wears contact lenses, it was a real risk when removing and cleaning them for the night. Generally speaking, our stay was okay. We've stayed at this hotel numerous times as it's close to the college. Breakfast is adequate and the staff is very nice.
Couldn't connect to "free Wifi" Was told that if you had a laptop a lot of people couldn't connect. Never had a problem connecting anywhere with my Sony. If you know there is a problem with the router fix it or replace it. There was a old XP machine in the lobby. Breakfast was great.
The bed was fine, terrible pillows, need a new tv, very small bathroom, great desk clerk.
First night on check in staff took forever to come to the front desk, the second night was fine and service was fast and great. Clean, comfortable, would stay here again.
Our stay at the Travelodge was very acceptable. Room was small, but comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the reasonable price for our night's stay.
Just what I needed, and it included breakfast. Very quiet and still just a minute from I-94
Nice motel for someone on a budget. Nothing fancy about it, but staff was nice, breakfast was good and it was clean.
I was given a room on the first floor (No. 121) that is noisy in the winter because of the lobby's heater working overtime overnight. After waking up at 5 a.m., I waited an hour and then asked to be moved to another room for the second and third nights of a three-night stay. The overnight clerk, Heidi, immediately got me a different room upstairs and cleaned it up. Her actions made this a good stay after a poor start. Tip: Do not accept Room 121 or any on the first floor if you are a light sleeper. The second floor is quiet and the rooms are larger as well.
average overall, nothing flashy but served it's purpose
We arrived late and had to leave early. They were accomodating and had their breakfast bar ready at 5 AM. The beds were very comfortable for motel beds. Overall the room was clean, except for a leftover skittle on the floor by the headboard. Met our expectations and then a bit extra.
The employee on duty was the nicest and most helpful lady I have seen at a hotel. However, this hotel was nothing special for the price we paid. We could have got another hotel, which would have been nicer for the same price. This hotel is not really family friendly, lots of truckers here. People drinking alcohol in the front of hotel :(
It was what I expected for the price. A bed, shower and a decent breakfast.
As an independent cotractor who travels a lot I look for lodging that is comfortable and affordable. The Travelodge fits that bill. A small but clean room with good wi-fi service. An in-room coffee maker that worked perfectly and continental breakfast that was fine. Very helpful staff from beginning to end. I will stay here again when doing business in St. Cloud.
The person at the reception desk, Danielle, was very helpful despite our arriving after 11 p.m. The rooms were fine, and the continental breakfast was satisfactory, too. It would have been nice to have an elevator to the second floor rooms. The building design, with the "wavy," narrow hallways, was somewhat confusing. I would book a room here again if I needed a stop-over place for the night.
relaxed and rested for next day activities. The location was perfect.
Visit Family & Friends. Good Breakfast. Average.
Bad security. Reported side door lock taped open - no action taken. Noisy customers slamming doors at 1 am Breakfast room not ready at posted time (6am) Tiny room.
I really enjoyed my experience. The staff was nice and the hotel was quiet.
We were there for a bowling tournament. There was no phone in the room and we found a sock on he floor that was not ours. The lamp and the radio did not work we moved the night stand and found they were unplugged and there was alot of garbage behind the nightstand. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and accommadating.
