Hotel is OK, thought it was cleaner when we stayed there last year.

This is a very nice hotel. Rooms well maintained and clean. However, it is pet friendly. The front desk attendant asked me if I was traveling with a pet. I said no. He gave me a room on the 3rd floor where pets are allowed. Both nights we had barking dogs disturbing our peace and sleep. Apparently only the 2nd floor stays pet free, “if possible “. When I mentioned all this to the morning desk clerk, she was dismissive almost to the point of being surly. Travelers beware.

When traveling with pets it's often hard to find a hotel that will accept pets let alone welcome them. The La Quinta chain of hotels have chanced all that. Our stay at the St. Augustine locatin was the perfect end to a long vacation. Check in was easy and everything was waiting for us. The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area including the best beach to take our dog. The room was clean and in perfect condition. There may have have been a few scratches and scuffs on the furniture and the walls but that is expected in any room. Now for the continental breakfast they offer. What can you say it's a FREE continental breakfast. If you are expecting a white linen table service or a grand breakfast buffet you are an idiot. The food area was clean and the selections tasty and just enough to get your day started. The coffee may not have been top shelf but it was a lot better then some other cups I have had. The long and short of it. If you are looking for a place to lay your head after a long day of driving or a few days vacation (on or off a budget) you can't find a better place to stay. I'm just saying.

I am a dog lover and there were lots of dogs with their owners at this hotel. But I didn't like it when a dog kept barking and houling at midnight in the next room when I was very tired and trying to sleep.

Room was clean and comfortable. Easy access to the highway.

Good place to stay. Clean, quiet and convenient. Staff was great. Only complaint was continental breakfast was terrible.

Nice, clean and good beds... the breakfast was ok.. coffee not a good taste.. bad brand.. but otherwise it's ok..

The service was impeccable. Staff accommodating, pleasant and professional.

This was a nice place to stay for a baseball tournament. It had everything we needed. We would stay here again

We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean and the bed comgortable. The complementary breakfast was great.

Room was clean and the staff was friendly. The bed was super comfy. Only issue we had was the walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors. I would stay again.

We needed a clean, comfortable, pet friendly hotel, close to the interstate around St. Augustine, and this property fit our needs perfectly. I have no complaints! The staff was helpful and courteous and the morning breakfast was perfectly adequate and meticulously maintained by the attendant

Hotel was conveniently located and a good value. Free breakfast was an added plus, but there were very few options

For a hotel in this price range I got much more than expected. Very clean & updated, bed was extremely comfortable, staff friendly, great location next to I-95 & shopping yet close to downtown St Augustine & St Augustine Beach.

Everything was great. Location was convenient for touring. Breakfast was good. Toured the historic area. Recomment the trolley even though you can drive around the same small circular route. The commentary was very informative. Go around once and then plan which stops to get off at and then walk to another are to reboard. Use the free parking offered at some of the stops.

The hotel was excellent and deserves a much higher rating. The staff was very helpful. It was easy to get to the beach and all the attractions. My wife and I and our dog were grieving the loss of our other dog, and the good treatment sure helped us. Jose (our dog) seems to be doing better. Thanks for the good treatment.

Got a room at a good price during Labor Day weekend. The front desk person was very nice, the room was comfortable and clean and the hot breakfast was good. The location was good in that it was next to I95 and the Prime Outlets.

I was in St. Augustine for a wedding and chose this hotel. The staff made my stay there more than pleasurable. I would recommend this hotel to friends/family/anyone.

Very clean, super friendly staff, good value. I will go back!

We stayed one night with our two little dogs. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good. There were plenty of places to eat and shop around the hotel. It was a fifteen minute drive to St Augustine attractions and 2 minutes from the interstate. If you are looking for a clean, pet friendly hotel, this one is perfect. p.s we stayed in jan 2013,but this page doesnt have 2013 yet.
