The location was good but the front desk staff were so rude and unprofessional that I wished I had stayed somewhere else. The housekeeping staff were much more friendly and welcoming and the bartender was great. If not for them I would say don't stay here unless everything else is booked.

Great hotel. Great location. We were only there for one night but we were turn next year.

The hotel lobby was beautiful and the staff was friendly. The room was pretty decent. The hotel water wasn't working the first morning for a shower which was rather annoying but it had gone off in all the hotel for about an hour. For the price, the hotel was great cause although it was a little off the main path it was close enough to walk to everything. wr would stay there again for sure.

Hotel was clean and pleasant. Room included breakfast which was wonderful. Staff was great. What was not pleasant was rm 204 which is positioned right above many air handlers outside in the parking lot, which went on and off all night, competing with the air/heat unit in your room.

Good, clean hotel for a weekend get away. Room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very polite and accommodating. Shuttle service to the different trolleys and even some restaurants was a plus. Just wish their breakfast had been continental or at the least better priced.

The hotel was in a great location, was clean and had a great staff.

staff was courteous and polite, offering to answer our questions first night the keys did not work and called maintenance, but finally they moved us to a different room. Breakfast was not included in our reservation. They walk from this hotel to Historic area is 0.5 mile approx. So, it depends if you are traveling with kids/elderly.

We met-up with a friend my husband went to HS (70s) with and stayed here because they had a small dog. Beautiful, old two-story, Spanish-style hotel located by the river making for an awesome view of the sunset reflecting across the water. A coffee cafe' and a 24-hour restaurant is just across the street and one restaurant is beside the hotel with a small pond out back. We enjoyed such an incredible frog a capello there that we even recorded it. Our stay was at the end of July. My husband said they had the best coffee he ever had, and he's pretty critical when it comes to coffee. I didn't go to breakfast however, the pastries were delicious!! The outdoor pool looked very inviting, but we were just too busy. Hotel will call a tour bus to come and pick you up for trolly tours they arrive in less than 10 min and bring you back that evening - no charge either way. Hotel provided complimentary tickets for one person to 2 or 3 paying sites on the tour. Check-in clerk was extremely helpful and friendly talked with us about our day every time we saw him. Relaxing foyer furniture and atmosphere to hang out in and talk while making plans. Maps and literature at your fingertips. Topping off the evening after a long day are cloud-like pillows and very comfortable beds. The 4s in the review were due to our rooms being overlooked for service and towels which were kindly supplied upon notification. We were told the cleaning personnel heard a dog and were afraid to come in we understood. The other relates to the air conditioner being a bit on the weak side requiring a long time to cool the room and staying on most of the time. I would stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pet-friendly hotel.

Met my expectations for the price. Good location and clean.

Very good location! Older rooms but clean. People are nice and discreat(wich I realy like). It is bit over priced but location is great.

The staff should be more organized. Told us we were not getting the room we booked and was looking at wrong reservation. Called me after I got in room to remind me of something they forgot to have me sign. Room was okay worth the money spent.

This Holiday Inn is in a great location! It's within walking distance to the historic district and the staff is fantastic. The breakfast buffet was nice, but I believe it should have been complimentary. Either way, we had a great time.

Hotel is close to historic St. Aug and the breakfast was decent ($12.99/person) - Front desk was very slow to help with correcting issues with the room.

The pictures and description of the hotel make it seem above the standard, however this was just a average hotel, nothing special. No special effort by the staff. Here is your room. The room was OK. The bathroom needed updating. The hotel was approx. one mile from downtown St Augustine, which was walking distance for us (others probably not). The saving grace was the price. Would of cost more if we had been closer to downtown.

The house keeping staff was not pleasant. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy, but that is about the highlight of my stay...

Over all a pretty average experience. Morning breakfast was ok and not really any flavor to it. The room was clean and location was not to far from the attractions. I would not stay again just because of the price range was to much for what you get. If the room dropped in price a good amount I would stay again.

great location, close to the city and very convinient

The hotel was close to all the attractions. The rooms were clean.

The hotel definitely hypes itself up with false advertising with it's photos. Looks a bit rundown in person. Room itself was alright. It's a little over half a mile's walk from the shoppes. Which isn't bad if you don't mind walking. We were told separate things about the breakfast buffet from different associates. One said it was cheaper to purchase at the front desk, the other said he didn't know what we were talking about. However, we were allowed to park our car there before and after our check in/out times. Hotel served it's purpose I guess, but over priced for what you get. Doubt I will stay here again.
