No nasty carpet here. New, clean tile floors! Bed not comfortable but a clean and inexpensive stay

Perfect location. Safe area, I went by myself for a getaway and it was perfect. It's only 5 blocks away from a beach between the main one close to the pier and butler beach. Morning relaxing there with nicer white sand then either 30 min walk to the main one or uber for lunch and afternoon at that popular beach. By car or uber just 15 min away to the old town. Nice swimming pool! Rooms comfortable but the floor could be cleaner. Great bed, important if you suffer spine conditions. They left make up remover in the bathroom. The room has a tv too, microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast is continental and it's only 1 block away from Dixi or Publics. I was on the second floor and they helped with my luggage since I cannot lift that much weight due to back issues. I would return for 2-3 nights with great weather.

We stayed here while visiting a relative, just for a night. I had booked for 2 nights over New year's weekend, but had to cut the short. The staff was very understanding and let me cancel the 2nd night (even though they were sold out) without any questions or fee. Staff was friendly, though, it did take longer to check-in than I would expect. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean. Our room had the carpet removed & replaced with wood grain tile, which I feel contributed to the cleanliness. Overall, good stay, comfortable bed, convenient to a couple restaurants.

Great hotel. The bed was comfortable. The wooden floors are much nicer than carpet. Great room for a fair price.

Room was basic, clean and comfortable. Convenient to stores and restaurants. Nothing fancy but great for a night or two.

Very very clean! Big room and nice wooden floors, we came back the next day and stayed there again! Super close to grocery shopping and reletevly close to the beach.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff efficient. Oddly, the room had 2 tubs in it. One was a tub/shower combo that had the shower control in need of repair. The other was a jetted tub that was missing the control knob and so did not operate. Overall the motel was fine for the one night we needed it.

The room was clean and beautiful: clean floors, jacuzzi tub, new microwave and refrigerator, very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the stay enormously! Thank you very much.

The hotel was very basic, but so was the price. So it was a good deal. Breakfast was the simplest I've ever seen at a motel, just coffee, toast, juice and hostess type pastries. But the location was good and the room was ok for the price. Just fine for what it is.

It was not as close to the beach as I thought. It is like a motel, but the room are very comfortable. The AC looks like brand new. Overall is a good place., But it is located far from the Down town attractions.

great staff clean room close to down town very quite peaceful stay

This was a great value and location to everything we needed. Breakfast was the only draw back. No fruit.Room was clean, staff was friendly.

A nice, clean, comfortable stay. Front desk staff very pleasant and efficient. Very good nearby restaurants. We would definately stay here again.

for the $$ it was ok, was disappointed the beach was quite a walk..nice b'fast.bare bones room

pleasant staff, pleasant room, put us in a pleasant mood!

Great Hotel! Needed the value of $46 per night, perfect location on A1A. Staff was very pleasant and eager to please. We will stay here & at other same hotels in other cities again!

Absolutely loved it here. The staff was very helpful & nice, & they even let us check out an hour later for free. Everything was about at 20 min drive away. Super convenient! Will def stay here again.

Not only did we get a fabulous rate on this room, the entire premises was very clean. There was staff sweeping and pressure cleaning the walkways three days were were there. Housekeeping was a little slow, especially on those days we choose to lounge around and enjoy the pool. The breakfast consisted of two types of cereal, bagels, toast, two types of sweet rolls (pre-packaged), coffee, orange juice & milk. There is a restaurant next door which serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. We didn't visit this establishment. The pool was large enough with depths of 3'8" to 5'9". They had two tables with umbrellas and four loungers and a couple extra chairs around the pool. Parking is plentiful. Although exiting onto A1A South and making a left turn was a little tricky. Sometimes had to wait a little while to cross safely. In regards to the beds, we found the mattresses in room 114 somewhat uncomfortable. And the air conditioning may not have been working properly. It felt like a very high level of humidity constantly. Towels & bathing suits never seemed to dry completely, even after 12-15 hours hanging. On a plus, the motel was very quiet and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We plan on returning on our next trip.

Online reviews are tricky...I am always skeptical as to if people are just too picky or want to just complain. America's Best Value Inn at Saint Augustine fit my families needs with two babies and a teen. There were quite a few families there that were super friendly. We stayed a total of five nights, three of which my in-laws were in the adjacent room....surprisingly they too were pleased with our experience. The property and rooms were immaculate, especially the linens and bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful, yet respectful if you wanted a little privacy. We spent our days sightseeing other adjacent areas or lounging on the beach, followed by an evening swim in the pool. The pool area too was very clean, had plenty of deck furniture and a tropical feel with palm trees all over the property and near the pool. It's open until 11 pm which was great and had safety latches on the gate to keep little ones out as needed. It is not located on the beach but with all of our beach goodies and kiddos we would have drove on the beach anyways especially for the sheer experience. An entrance was right near the hotel so it was very convenient. This was our second trip to SA, which we stayed on A1A Beach Boulevard in another budget hotel last time. Although directly across from the Beach, our stay Washington not as pleasurable. Americas right at the Y in the road was only a couple of minutes literally from everything yet peaceful at night. I would highly recommend this property and plan to stay again!!! Quick check in and out. The only negative was the tv remote needed to be programmed for it didn't control the tv...but hey man we were at the beach not there to watch tv. This was not important to us and we did not even bring it up, but I am sure would have promptly been corrected if we had. Give Americas a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

It's location is perfect for vacationers wanting to be close to the beach & down town St. Augustine. My family enjoyed the cozy comforts of this little hotel, and would highly recommend it to friends.
