Great 360 views of the city must stay! We were upgraded to honeymoon suite and at dinner time we were given table no 1 which was near window overlooking the city. Rooms are nice as well. Didn't have a chance to experience swimming pool. They have live music but again not much re entertainment. The food was good although if they pack food for you please check at reception before leaving hotel as we found ants pack in with the sandwiches in the cling film and not pleasant at all especially if you have pre paid for it.,

Warm and friendly welcome.very caring staff.personalized attention to all members specially the elderly guests.Fantastic location.Variety of foods.Rooms very comfortable and spacious.Washroom satisfactory.Hope to visit again

The staff was very friendly, one of the best teams I have seen. Special Thanks to Fara, Kumari . Also to Mr.Basnayaka ( GM)who greeted us personally . The pool side is lovely. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and better. We as a family enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was so busy but everyone took a personal effort to provide a superb service. In terms of food the property can do better par with their Star class. In overall I will defiantly highly recommend this property

We were staying here for 2 nights b & b and upon arrival, we had a lovely welcome from the hotel staff and the room was lovely with stunning views. We were doing a tour around Sri Lanka and it was nice to see the different hotels along the way and this was a really nice one. We have found that most of the hotels have done a fixed price buffet in the evening and this was really good here. The staff were really nice and friendly and always there to assist you with anything and the food and drink extremely good. I had been drinking the "Lion lager" but at this hotel, I also discovered a nice "Lion stout" but be careful as it is 8.8% ! It is definitely worth a stay here as it is in such a great location.

Stayed here for two nights of our tour. The hotel is located on the hillside above Kandy, with stunning views. On first impressions the reception area is quite welcoming and we were given a cool towel and drink on arrival. The rooms are very clean and spacious and of a good standard. We stayed half board, the meals were fine, but in our opinion it felt a bit like a cafeteria and not as good as the previous hotels we had stayed in. Unfortunately on our arrival the pool had a temporary pump at the side of it and a light fitting on the side of the pool, therefore we didn’t enter the pool. The pool area in general looked very tired with broken sun beds and is in need of a revamp. We advised our tour booking company of the state of the pool area, the next thing the hotel manager was knocking on our door explaining that the pool was under repair and offered us a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch however didn’t make up for the state of the pool area etc. There was no outside area to sit as the roof restaurant and terrace was closed due to refurbishment. In our opinion we should have been advised of this by our booking company prior to our visit. The pool pump and light fitting was fixed the next day. On the plus side, the staff in the restaurant were very good. This is an honest review of our stay and usually I can write positive reviews, however in this case we were very disappointed.

Hotel catered perfectly to our needs as a family with young kids. Staff could not have been nicer and kinder. Rooms were great with stunning views. One can see certain parts could do with a little update but the hotel retains regal charm. We had buffet dinner for two nights and buffet breakfast. They offered a huge variety and we requested some spicy options which were supplied by the kitchen. The pool was amazing and we ended up having an a la Carte lunch next to the pool one afternoon which was brilliant.

One of the hotels to be remembered during a short vacation to Kandy ! The hotel room provides an excellent view from the room , Swimming pool was clean and maintained well. Property also had a Tennis court, getting a booking seemed next to impossible due to high demand ! Very supportive staff make sure your stay is comfortable. The spread on the dinner and breakfast had lots of varieties and your request for any additional dishes honored as well ! Overall very satisfied and will highly recommended place to enjoy your vacation !

The hotel is lovely located when it comes to views, but a little "off Broadway". The room was ok, but was located one floor above the lift stop and that is not ok when one of us has a walking problem. We had hoped to use the pool in the afternoon, but a lot of stairs kept us from that experience. The food was very good, both dinner and breakfast, and the staff in the restaurant very nice and service minded, so was the staff at the front desk..

Lovely hotel, slightly old fashioned, but charming for it. Wonderfully friendly staff too. But the well meaning man who plays the violin in the bar is just horribly out of tune. My friends and I had to leave even though the cocktails were great. Such a shame as the man who played the keyboard the previous night isn't at all bad.

Unfortunately we were unable to take full advantage of the location due to a 12 hour , overnight curfew. Would certainly use the hotel again and happy to recommend to others. Atmosphere in the dining room spoilt by a large group of very noisy guests
