I like to unwind or start the day with a little physical activity. BUT if you want to do so at this HOJO express you better have the urge between 9AM and 8PM, the only time the room is open. WH What???? C'mon, man; you're better than that!!

Stayed while attending Big E. not too far away. I looked at hotels closer, and they had some bad reviews. Room was clean, nice breakfast.

No complaints. Friendly & helpful staff. Clean rooms, ok breakfast. Would hope for a little lower price.

Expected at least the seventies or eighties model building what I got was a fifties Hotel

The room was bigger and nicer than I thought it would be. The lake view was beautiful. The families there were a little loud and some kids were just running around which was a little unpleasant but not enough to ruin things. The suite we stayed in was also right next to the laundry room which seemed like a strange placement. The hot tub seemed like it was not used recently, some flakes came out of the jets when they were turned out but we wiped it down again and it was fine. The staff was friendly and it is very close to six flags. I would go back for what we paid.

Joseph (at the front desk) was a tremendous help during my stay. I was in Springfield for a job interview and flew in from Georgia in the middle of ice and snow. Being used to the Georgia weather, I was not prepared to deal with a frozen window the morning of my interview. Joseph came to my rescue and did more than I could ask for. He helped de-freeze my windshield just in the nick of time but got splashed with water in the process. His clothes were wet but he still smiled his radiant smile on that freezing morning. Thanks so much, Joseph.

The is very nice and quiet place at the moment yjat i was there.

Enjoyed the location and also the comfort of the room. Thank you.

The place is a dump, the room is clean and room is comfortable but the location is bad. The breakfast is terrible. Although the price is good, I am never going there again. I don't recommend it.

Room was clean, nothing fancy, good value. Breakfast is minimal and could use an upgrade

Just a one night stay. Basic room except it did have a small fridge and a microwave. Game room was gone. TV was good size and the continental breakfast was good.

I was happy that I was able to sleep in such a safe, sybaritic, clean room for the night I spent in Springfield, MA. Everything I used in the room was working very well. The TV had very good quality, and the breakfast was good.

I booked it because they had the best rate in the area and we were only staying one night. The Good: The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was responsive when I was concerned about the noise coming from the party room. They were helpful when asked about directions. The free breakfast was decent. The view of the pond was very pretty. The Bad: The bedspreads were stained and the carpet/room as a whole didn't appear very clean. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling although the fixtures seemed new. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

The room was nicely laid out. The beds were quite comfortable. We had a delightful view of a lake with frequent views of water fowl swimming and feeding. The breakfast room also had a view of the lake and the geese even came up on the hotel lawn while we ate.

This is more of an old-fashioned motel. It's a busy location and the buildings were quite old, but everything was very clean and the staff was very professional and friendly. The room was small and rather dark, but the tv, the plumbing, and the heat/AC worked just fine(unlike more expensive hotels in the area). There was a brand-new small refrigerator and a microwave in the room. In the morning, I was impressed to find windows in the breakfast room overlooking a cute little lake.

it was an out of the way hotel, small but fair. no trouble with the people around. Breackfast was good filling. Hotel was not right in the heart of the city. which was good. sign in was average helpful.

I was looking for a cheap play to stay when we went to the park, it was clean, inexpensive, and it had a nice continental breakfmore than I paid for

just relaxed,if only the t.v. worked. not good

Other than loud disturbances in the middle of the night both nights that I was there, the motel was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but I didn't find any of the things that have been said to be true. The room was very clean. It had a chain on the door and you can only open the door with a card. Aside from hearing people go to their rooms there wasn't any great noise. I thought it was an excellent room for the price I paid. The decor was lovely. I really have no complaints about the hotel. If I were ever to stay there again, I would, however, pay more for one of the rooms that has a balcony and faces the water. As I was checking out, one of the balcony rooms was standing open waiting to be cleaned and the view looked breathtaking. In regards to location, it can go both ways. It's a good location since there are restaurants and a grocery store nearby, but the area is also a bit run down. But I felt safe in my room.
