It was close to gas station, restaurant and dollar general

There was a heavy odor of some sort in my room and the tub wasn't very clean and the pillows are too small

Nice, spacious room in good location, but TV remote did not work, ac unit was loud and entrance door did not shut properly and was crooked. Microwave was broken and dirty. No plugins at desk or bed for computer, etc.

It was very overpriced for what i got. The room was very dirty. House keeping did not come until the last day. On the last day the came several times vefore check out time rushing me out. I felt like this was very poor customer service all the way around.

if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in springfield i recommend this place. it isn't the fanciest or greatest, but it has a nice breakfast with hot items and cold, a small pool, and a great staff that is nice and friendly.

I made a mistake when I made my reservation in that I somehow chose a smoking instead of non-smoking room. I am allergic to smoke so there's no way I can stay in a smoking room. When I asked if we could switch for a non-smoking room, the desk clerk told us he had some rooms but it would be $80. I asked if he could just change the reservation to a non-smoking room and he said no, I would have to pay for another room. So, not being able to stay in a smoking room, and not wanting to give this hotel another $80, I left and lost the money I paid for the room that I couldn't stay in. And, of course, the clerk didn't seem to care because they already had my money. I've stayed here before, not because it was a great hotel, but because it decent enough and was close to where I needed to go, but I will never stay there again. I'll take my business to one of the other hotels in that area.

I needed a place for the night (on a week night) but didn't want to spend a lot and ended up here. Certainly the whole place needs a good scrubbing, but my room was fine, save for the used wash cloth hanging from the shower head that greeted me (how does room service miss that?). I moved the nightstand to plug in my laptop and saw WAY too much grime that needed to be vacuumed behind it. I was trying to get some work done on my laptop but the slow wireless internet made me feel like I was on dial-up. PROS: Right off I-55. Liquor store, Chinese food, and tanning place a short walk away. 32" LCD TV. CONS: Lack of overall cleanliness, bad internet, and I forgot to mention, the hotel is dog friendly. That might go in some people's PROS column, but to hear a yiping dog as you walk down the hallway? Not so much.

Very Clean, Courteous staff. Breakfast is fine, cereal, bisquits, OJ, etc.

when we arrived into the room it smelled like an ashtray, then we were getting ready for bed, pulled the covers back and saw a greasy hand print on the sheets, and blood stain on the blanket. The continental breakfast was only til 9am, even on the weekends. I would not recommend to stay there.

Went to celebrate my dads 87th birthday. I chose this hotel for the indoor pool, my so loves to swim. The breakfast was good, room was clean and the staff was nice.

I had no problems, the staff was helpful, and I have no complaints.

When I first stepped in the lobby I was ok with it's appearance. Nothing special but average. We were greeted by a pleasant young man. When we went to take out luggage up on the elevator my first instinct was to go get our money back and leave but under the circumstances of being there for a family funeral I did not want the hassle of finding another hotel. The elevator door track is filthy and the stainless steel needs polished and cleaned. The buttons were very dirty and we always washed our hands after using the elevator which was only to take up the luggage and bring it down again. The carpet on the stairs was not cleaned well where it was against the wall and needed a crevice tool used. Not at all impressed with the cleanliness. the mattresses were clean and the bedding but the pillows need replaced as they are stained (luckily wee took our own pillows). Breakfast was good and that area seemed to be clean. They just need to do more deep cleaning. I would not stay again for that reason alone.

VERY RUDE STAFF CALLED THE POLICE ON US FOR PLAYIN OUTSIDE IN THE GRASS. TOLD THEM THEY HAD A NOISE COMPLAINT FROM OTHER GUEST BUT THERE WAS NO ONE ON OUR END. POOL HAD RUST AND TILES MISSING. KIDS FOUND SOMETHING GROWING OUT THE BOTTOM OF IT AND IT'S INDOORS. BEDS HAD BLOOD AND URINE STAINS ALL OUR THEM SO DID PILLOWS , ELEVATOR DID NOT WORK .

First night was fine . Second night a group of drunk bikers were yelling and screaming obsenities until 2AM. I was afraid to leave the room or say anything.

Good value for the money. Like the breakfast. Seemed like everyone got what they needed. Hotel needs some up-dating but would definitely stay there again.
