We loved the pool. My kids we amazed that the TV had my name on the screen welcoming us. They liked that it cleared out Netflix settings for us. Great trip.
The bed cover was dirty with blood stains.
I liked the hotel, my room and the staff. My only issue was it wasn't any vegan options for breakfast.
We had a great stay.. everything was just perfect.. clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, pool, nice size room. Close to either Southport or Oak Island. I would definitely stay again.

We're traveling south and found this hotel as a last minute overnight. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Accommodations were very nice with a firm bed for sleeping. Breakfast had cheese omelets that was a nice tasty surprise.

We had a non smoking room that was clearly a smoking room. It smelled horrible, the HD tv did not offer any HD CHANNELS. The air conditioning was terribly loud. The parking lot had one part blocked so instead of driving around to look for a spot you had to back out to get to the other aisles. We checked out at 11 on Sunday night when we paid through Monday.
Our stay here was great! The hotel staff were very nice and polite. Anytime we needed anything they were right their. Our room was beautiful. We slept so well in the bed. The free breakfast was amazing, so yummy!! I can go on and on about all the great things about this hotel. We will defintally be back next summer for our next vacation!
Went to the Southport, NC area to look at real estate options. The area can be very congested especially around the major intersections. Most properties are older and probably need updating. The Hampton Inn, Southport is about ten years old and the rooms and overall property show a need for a major modernization. Newer Hampton Inns can be found further south in Merrills Inlet and Litchfield.
The facility was clean, the staff friendly and there were unpleasant situations. Would definitely stay here again.
