Bathroom wasn't clean After 3 days we asked for housekeeping. Never came. $30 per night per dog is reasonable. However, should have a per stay rate for those staying more than 3 days, as other motels have.

Welcoming and friendly. We booked at the very last minute and despite the few options available this hotel was nicer than expected and more than we hoped considering it was Easter weekend. The rates are good especially the pet fees! Only $30 a night when before at other hotels we were charged $150 per night! They also had a welcome baggie for our fur baby :) Less than a 10 min drive to the beach and to Southport. Really neat!
We were put in a room that had stains on sheets and stains on curtains. The remote for the TV didnt work and the pool didnt look really clean. But they were willing to move us to another room. It was night and day difference in the 2 rooms. It was very clean and a much nicer room. We were pleased overall with the stay.

The desk staffer was superb and so gracious. I was so impressed by the special treatment my puppy got - goodie bag, instructions on where to walk him etc. all around AAA service!

It was very nice and clean, and they had a welcoming atmosphere, however we had to wait several minutes for someone to appear at the front desk. There was no bell to ring. I tried calling the hotel, and no one answered either. Finally, she showed up with the cart with lemon water. She was very nice, but I couldn't help but think it was unprofessional for the front desk to be unattended for so long.
Very nice place for us and our dogs. Great breakfast and the room was very spacious.
Conveniently located to oak island beach & Southport beach. Within 15 minutes of what both places have to offer.

You can tell this hotel has been recently renovated. Clean, quiet and comfortable throughout. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Melissa, the manager. Breakfast was above average. Even had a popcorn machine in the lobby! Also there was a charging station for plug-in vehicles (both Tesla and generic).
Great location for golf and beaches, easy to to get to all of the restaurants, I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel has fine amenities, includin a clean smaller outdoor pool and a clean fitness center. Our room had a leftover, extremely dirty towel that was not taken out before our arrival. When I called downstairs, I didn't feel that our complaint was received well and there was no offer to do anything about it, so the dirty towel that somebody else used remained in our room for 24 hours or so. The lines at the front desk counter were very long due to having only person behind the desk. At various times of the day, we experienced either a very clogged lobby due to lines. Our check-in took like 15min, which is quite a long time at 11pm at night. We went to the front desk one other time with a question, waited about 10min and then just left since the line was very long again. In addition, their breakfast excluded eggs and sausage due to their heating machine being down. Overall... The experience could've been better. The service and comfort should have matched the amenities and been at least average.
