This property needs to be renovated. The carpet was filthy, the water in the shower dripping all night. The bed was not comfortable and it was old, the sheets look like they haven't been changed. I had to stay because I couldn't get my money back. I had to purchase new towels and a blanket to put on the bed. I was out of so much money. I will never stay there again. I forgot the elevator was not working. Im a person with heart problems and can't walk the stairs because of my knees. I asked for a floor on the first floor and when I got there I had to wait an hour and a half. They staff person asked me could I come back.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life! There was mold, mildew and musty smells through the hallway. To top it off we found a roach crawling through our luggage. Please DO NOT STAY HERE! It is nothing like the pictures!

This was a terrible stay. It was the most disgusting carpet I’ve ever seen, definitely molded. Both elevators were broken so had to carry luggage up 5 flights of stairs. To top it all off, on the last morning we found a live cockroach in our room. Says 5 stars but should be 1. Tried to explain situations to staff & management and they do not care at all. Do not stay here!

Staff was nice on checkin but very unhelpful after. Tried 2 ice machines before going to front desk - to be told, no ice. Asked for a 3rd bath towel - party of 3 - only 2 towels - was told "no towels'. This property is extremely rundown and needs a through face lift or be closed. LaQuinta sure has gone down!!!!

Do not stay here!! It was a horror show immediately after check in. As we started to our room on the sixth floor, the ceiling tiles were missing in front of elevator and a big garbage can was in the middle of hallway. The wallpaper was loose and coming of the wall. Had there been a flood? The panels in the elevator were duct taped on. The walls in the elevator were filthy having been splashed with something that had dried. The carpets on first and sixth floors were stained with large black areas which I thought at first was shadows but then realized it was dirt of some kind. Our room on 6th floor had a broken window and mold in the bathtub. The final straw was the back door key entry was broken so anyone could open the door at anytime. We turned in our keys and did not stay. We are now trying to get a refund from Orbitz. They should not expect anyone to stay in a dirty, unsafe property. Orbitz should not have these properties on their website.

From my experiences, I have nothing negative to say about my stays overall. That being said, the building does need some work done in certain areas. But to be fair, this is not a new hotel. So be mindful and do your due diligence when planning your vacation in the Jacksonville area.

Property is not being cared for. Roaches in room. Room not clean.

There was a lot of moisture damage, ceiling, walls, and floors. At the main entrance exterior trash container spilling over to ground.

Inside very dirty especially carpets. Breakfast options suck. Elevator didn’t work. Every time the people next door opened and closed there door it sounded tike it was our room door it slams shut upon release it startled us awake several times during the night

Do not stay here!! It was a horror show immediately after check in. As we started to our room on the sixth floor, the ceiling tiles were missing in front of elevator and a big garbage can was in the middle of hallway. The wallpaper was loose and coming of the wall. Had there been a flood? The panels in the elevator were duct taped on. The walls in the elevator were filthy having been splashed with something that had dried. The carpets on first and sixth floors were stained with large black areas which I thought at first was shadows but then realized it was dirt of some kind. Our room on 6th floor had a broken window and mold in the bathtub. The final straw was the back door key entry was broken so anyone could open the door at anytime. We turned in our keys and did not stay. We are now trying to get a refund from Orbitz. They should not expect anyone to stay in a dirty, unsafe property. Orbitz should not have these properties on their website.
