We travelled from Mazatlan to Phoenix and ended up here. The price was good and the breakfast was fine. It is very noisy ~ we asked to be off the main road and ended up with emergency vehicles running up and down behind the room. The floor was really dusty and we couldn't decide if it was the flooring or that the room hadn't been used or that it wasn't cleaned. The beds were good .
Nice, clean but a bit noisy (Main Street). We drive Phoenix to Mazatlan many times each year. This was our first time here. GREAT bed, which in Mexico can be challenging. Breakfast included and restaurant on site. Secure parking.
We have stayed here for years and will continue to do so. From reservations to rooms to meals, we have yet to have a bad experience. Clean rooms, beds and grounds along with great security if you are traveling by car. Kudos to all, see you again this fall!
I paid about $53 a night. Credit cards accepted. Room was spacious, spotless, and with very good A/C and wifi. Hot water in the shower. Room service offered. Outdoor-entrance rooms. Pool. Decent included breakfast buffet. Very nice staff. Business center with computers and internet. Mediocre onsite restaurant open late. Located on main drag close to Oxxos, restaurants, banks... There's no need to linger in Obregon too long, but you'll be fine at this hotel while you're here. I wish it was a mite cheaper, though...
Pros: east to find, 24 hour security guard by the parking, continental breakfast included, reasonable rate. cons: lots of traffic noise, security guard talked to other people throughout the night, took forever to get the water hot, small room. Good for travellers for 1 night But ask for twin beds as single bed is a double not a queen and ask for as far from the road and entrance as possible
A short stay (3 nights) in Obregon had us staying at the Quality Inn. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were great. The price is good. As we were there during an unusually cold few days we asked for extra blankets and a heater and the staff graciously provided everything we asked for directly. The only complaint is the complementary continental breakfast is served within the cafe where there is also a buffet that is not complementary so when we had something from the buffet we were charged. Skip the buffet and eat at the many restaurants within walking distance.
I booked the hotel online paying only $35/night so I was hesitant about the conditions. I was amazed and very surprised that my expectations were extremely exceeded!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Buffet was amazing and staff was friendly.
Amazing people, amazing service! Perfect location and near by great restaurants and local attractions, such as Italianni's, Mr. Steak, The Bully, the Cd Obregon's Yaquis professional baseball stadium, etc.
This is a great hotel, a bit like a motel with some rooms off to the side of the main building. I was in the first of these and it was a bit noisy due to it being near the main entrance, the security guards and a couple of out door tables. I didn't feel comfortable having the curtains open due to the fact that anyone walking by could look into the room. Also, I didn't like it that the window didn't seem to open. Nonetheless, it was clean and a good room. I rate this hotel highly because I encountered nothing but helpful, friendly staff and excellent service. I never encountered any negative attitude or snottiness. I ordered soup on room service one night and it was absolutely amazing. I can't remember what it was called unfortunately. I ordered a drink at the bar and said I'd like to drink it outside and the barman brought me the drink even though I didn't expect it and the tables were quite far. This is not a pretty town but there is a cafe and bookshop half a block toward the center of town which has an excellent view from the roof. Mr Steak is a good restaurant, which is away from the center of town a few blocks. I forgot to try the local specialty, the coyotl cookie. Don't have cappuccino in this town because it is pre-sweetened and served with whipped cream on top.
Right on the main drag as yo head through town, on th left as you're heading north. Easy check in, we had a main floor room close to th pool area, fitness area which was a great location away from th traffic noise on th main street out front of the hotel. Very comfortable room, high speed WiFi, cable TV, king size bed, good size, spotlessly clean and very economical. We will definately stay here again.
