Our stay was amazing! All the staff were courteous and were genuine in wanting to help. We were traveling with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to serve us. We made several odd requests (band aids, extra towels, food, etc) and they accomodated us every single time without hesitation or sense of shame :) Even the room service was good (Beef brisket wrap with veggies). The grounds here are really beautiful and we enjoyed walking around them several times. We would definitely stay again--especially knowing that it's a "baby friendly" place.
A beautiful old building with all it's charm in a classic old style garden setting. It's not a five star experience but it is a pretty good 4. The 5 course degustation meal was excellent as was the service. Unfortunately we had the gentle sound of music coming from somewhere all night.
Last minute booking, looking for golf experience more than hotel experience. Amazing place, beautiful views, fabulous food and staff that where happy to look after you. Have not experienced any place quite like this hotel with it's beautifully manicured gardens and so lacking in pretension. Can't recommend highly enough.
The rooms are very small and outdated. We had a rattling noise in our room all night, there were stains on the couch in our room and our tv didn't work when we first arrived. The car park isn't large enough and we were almost parked in. Our rubbish wasn't cleared from our room. The grounds are nice but definitely not worth the price.
Our one night stay at Craigieburn was really nice. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. I thought the building was a little tired in places, but the gardens and lawns were lovely. Our room was nice, though quite small, many the bathroom very tight. Nice toiletries provided.
The Disabled Room was spacious giving plenty of room to move about in the chair in the room and bathroom. The bathroom was set up well with plenty of grab rails both in the shower and alongside the toilet. The shower has a plastic seat. The bathroom lacked counter space to put toiletries and clean clothing though. The entrance to the bathroom was a little tight; just enough room for a small wheelchair but no way a person in a scooter would fit. The staff were most pleasant, the breakfast food was lovely and plenty of, the restaurant food was good quality. My family did feel the desert menu somewhat lacking but our waist line appreciated that. The grounds of the property are amazing. Oh, the carpark area is just gravel, so being pushed or pushing yourself in a wheelchair is not easy on this surface.
Had a beautiful relaxing time at Peppers Craigieburn. The accommodation and facilities are wonderful. Staff are friendly and professional at all times. Breakfast was excellent and a brilliant way to start the day!
The room was smaller than our bedroom at home, the view was of an old run down stable and the glass shower screens were not clean. For the money we paid for one night, I would not go back. The upside was the breakfast but it would have been nice if they offered the guest discount
A wonderful stay, with glorious gardens and grounds, excellent service, friendly staff and delightful cuisine. The main building, lounges bar and restaurant were a pleasure to use. But check the view from and size of the room first.
A group of us stayed at Craigieburn as part of a golf trip and utilised the ‘golf, stay and play’ package, which provided good value. The hotel is set in a very picturesque area with beautiful gardens and surrounds and was a great base for us to play our golf. The service from the staff was excellent and the buffet breakfast was delicious.
