nice hotel with good views and food! stuff is very friendly.

Fantastic place and fantastic people. Will definitely be back.

Great Food, awesome staff, and very nice rooms with pretty ocean views

Lovely hotel with an amazing staff. While it is not glitzy or glam, and no one is there to wait on you hand and foot, the staff are all very happy and helpful and will know you by name after a few days. They genuinely care about their work and this resort, and they do everything they can to make you feel at home. Aside from the amazing staff, the hotel itself is stunning. The views are unbeatable and I looked forward to waking up every morning to see the ocean. The beach is small but very nice. Because the resort is small, you never have to fight for a chair or place to sit. NOTE: there are many steps down to the beach, so if you are at all handicap, you will have trouble getting down. No handicap access. But the pool is very nice too! The hotel is obviously old, but it has been pretty well maintained. We did have a huge cockroach in our room the first night, but that is to be somewhat expected on the ground floor an in a warm climate. The food here is also very good. Their meal plan is a great deal considering how expensive restaurants are on the island and cabs getting to them aren't cheap either. We did breakfast, lunch, and dinner there most days, and went out for dinner 3 nights. My family and I will definitely be back!

Staff was warm and welcoming, the facility was clean and very pleasant, beautiful views, many activities, very relaxing. The food was spectacular, many compliments to the chefs, kitchen and wait staff.

The owners and staff st the Pompano were exceptional! They were there to help with any request for our group of 14 and they always did it with a smile! We would highly recommend this resort, the restaurants, the beach, pool and all they offer! We’ll definitely be back!

The hotel has a fabulous beachside location with pastel blue water and safe tides for swimming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The balcony was also large with a fab view ~ but at a cost: 52 steep steps up a steep hillside, with no elevator. Not easy three times a day for 80 year olds! Otherwise the hotel could not have been better. The staff could not have been more helpful ~ offering the odd lift up the hill and to the bus stop in a golf buggy. The food was also excellent with a super variety of local and international food. The extras were excessive ~ $150/day not including meals. The USA majority customers are probably used to 20% tips and $15 cocktails ~ not us Brits!

Excellent stay. Rooms are a bit dated, but so what! Hotel could use some updating, in general. But, a very relaxing way to spend a few days on the beach. Right next to Port Royal GC.

Quiet, private beach, friendly service, great food, good accommodations. An amazing place to get away from it all

Outstanding visit to Bermuda staying at Pompano Beach Club. The hotel and staff were great. The only caution is that the beach leading into the ocean is riddled with very sharp corral washed in by the tide. If the hotel can figure out that nuisance rating jumps to a 5. Staff is wonderful and attentive. The guest rate at Port Royal golf club adjacent to the hotel is a super perk.

Everything about the Pompano Beach Club is five star. The entire staff is friendly and focused on providing the highest level of customer service. Our room was spacious, very clean and had an incredible ocean view. The two restaurants serve gourmet meals and the meal plan package (breakfast and dinner) is an absolute bargain. The resort amenities and private beach are perfect. We had a great vacation week at the Pompano and plan to return next year.

We LOVED our stay here!! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like we were at home (which really set them apart). They took the time to learn our names, gave us lifts to the bus stop and the grocery, gave great advice for things to see/do, and really just made the experience wonderful! The location of the hotel was pretty ideal- it was a quick bus ride to see the most beautiful beaches and coves we've ever seen. We could also get to Hamilton and the Dockyard without issue. The view from our bed was just incredible, and we saw gorgeous parrot fish and sunsets. Pompano made our honeymoon memorable in all of the best ways and we hope we can return sometime soon!

We were looking for a nice hotel room with good view and nice food. Pompana Beach Club has it all.

Every inch of the property has fantastic views of the ocean and fabulous sunsets. The staff is very friendly and helpful and engaging. The meal plans offered are a great value and are almost mandatory given the few restaurants nearby. The vast majority of our four day stay was great. The hotel outdoors use a freshening up. The room was a bit musty and the carpets are a bit worn. We were able to get past these by opening the balcony door and focusing on the jaw dropping up close look at the Atlantic. One caution: make sure the hotel completely spells out all the fees involved, especially of you book through a travel site. Our stay was still worth it, but we were handed a bill with lots of unexpected extra charges on it, later explained as tips for all staff among other things. The overall experience was very positive despite these things. The stay would have been even better if the hotel had explained all the charges involved upfront.

Thanks for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Just so you know, all of our rooms have been refurbished in the last three years (furniture, draperies, etc.) and we've spent a lot of money and time updating all of our public areas, restaurants (new furniture, floors, etc.), pools, hot tubs. bar areas, etc. this past fall and winter!
