I’ve stayed here a few times now and will always try to plan my overnight stops in Yorkshire to be at this hotel. The staff are consistently great - I had left my phone charger at the last hotel I stayed in and they found me another to borrow while I was there. Always pleasant and the rooms are at the higher level of HIE standards.

It's really good place if you are staying for short time. I have been in this hotel for 10 days and really fed up on same breakfast menu in every morning. Other than that its really good place to stay

Nice clean spacious rooms. The bathrooms were nicer than expected, more modern than other Holiday Inn Express's I've stayed at. The food was really nice in the restaurant. I was on the second floor. Unfortunately this is really noisey from the main road outside and you can also hear people walking /talking outside. Would be beneficial if the hotel added in some acoustic measures to try and damped the sound. Apart from the noise. Perfect location, plenty of parking. No issues.

Stayed for one night after an awards night at Ponds Forge. Really close to the venue which cut out the cost of a taxi! Rooms spacious with comfy beds. Nice shower room. Clean with good quality towels. Kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. Hairdryer too. Air conditioning was lovely and kept the room a comfortable temperature. Great stay and for the money we paid to include breakfast ( which we took the grab and go option) it was a steal.

A group of us stayed for a night, the organiser (gellis) was a bit of an idiot and didn’t book or communicate very well. Katie made sure we got a room at no extra cost and we sorted it out the day after. Great customer service

My husband and I stayed here whilst visiting our daughter who is at University in Sheffield. The price was great and I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room. Lovely comfy bed and very nice bathroom. All spotless. Breakfast was included which wasn't anything great but enough I guess. It was self service. There is parking at the Hotel which is 6 pounds per day. The hotel was in a great location only 2 mins walk from my daughters flat on Lady's bridge.

Stayed here for about 5-6 days and the stay was very good. Pros: 1. Excellent location with close proximity to the city center (walkable). 2. Generous and helpful staff. 3. Reasonable breakfast spread. 4. Typical Holiday Inn room amenities. Cons: 1. Rooms are comparitively small and feels cramped sometimes. 2. Usually a little expensive. Overall a nice hotel.

I recently just returned here from a weekend stay this is our second visit the staff where excellent from start to finish . Room was spacious and bathroom very modern. Breakfast great choice and warm and dinner in here was great to only fault is they don’t have a children’s menu what is very strange as most holiday inn chains we have visited have this and its kids stay and eat free. Eve. If kids can’t stay and eat free I would recommend you get a kids menu but Baring in mind staff where great in finding something to eat for my 2 year old can’t go wrong with chips chicken nuggets and beans so thank you for this . I was emailing Philip who was very helpful in the run up to our stay who helped by getting another room booked for my mother who decided to come along he got her placed in the room directly next door and this was very much appreciated so thank you so much again . We will more then likely to be back next year and I am looking forward to it already

I booked the room online. It was tricky to find the hotel, partly due to the Sheffield road system. The car park is not very big, (but there is extra space just round the corner). The check-in was quick and easy. There are seven floors and i was on the 6th floor (the lifts were a bit dirty). The room was nice, with clean, decent furniture. The wifi was free and fine for simple internet browsing. The room was dark at night and there wasn't any noticeable noise from nearby rooms. The breakfast area is a good size and you get a selection of hot and cold choices.

We stayed for 5 days at the beginning of august to attend the special Olympic national games. The rooms were lovely with really comfy beds. The breakfast were good and I liked that you could take away your breakfast if you had to rush out. We ate most of our evening meals there and the food was excellent. There was a useful button in reception which you could use to order taxis. The taxi services were really reliable too. The staff were outstanding especially Lydia in reception who printed out maps for us when we needed to get to various places and James who looked after us with our meals and made sure my aunty always got her Costa coffee fix. I would definitely stay here again if i ever return to Sheffield.
