First time we've been bought a voucher from Groupon £39 for two plus a treatment my granddaughter and I chose a facial nice and relaxing really enjoyed it. The spa was ok but I would say it was more leisure centre than spa it was ok for the price but having been to other spa's I was a little disappointed

Still loving this hotel and especially the staff, all of whom are friendly and helpful. We stay quite a lot now when we visit family and we are always given a nice welcome. The front desk is well managed by the extremely professional Jaeger and colleagues. Also a shout out to all restaurant staff in the evening and breakfast who do a great job.

I cannot speak more highly of the Management, Staff, Food, Rooms, in fact anything about this hotel. Level of service was second to none with a smile at all times. Attention to detail was perfect. Everyone attending commented that the "Street Food" buffet was probably the best they had ever had. The hotel was full and all rooms were ready on time. Breakfast was packed, yet unlike many hotels, the food was piping hot. 250+ attending could not speak more highly of the experience. First time I have ever written a review of any sort. Thank you!!!!

We've stayed here a number of times over the years while visiting family. Rooms are well-sized and equipped and comfortable. We always get a good night's sleep. Car parking is free and the location is convenient for onward journeys. There is a restaurant, bar and pool onsite.

My boyfriend booked us a last minute stay here as a surprise. It's easy to get to on the outskirts of Sheffield. The hotel looks old from the outside but modern inside. The rooms are good size, could probably do with a refresh on the interior. The hotel is currently building a huge extension which I imagine will be very modern. The hotel has lots of event space and there were parties/events being hosted both days. We used the lounge bar which was nice and had sport on the tv. The pool was a little busy on the Saturday morning, there is a hot tub, steam room and sauna to use too. Breakfast is a buffet with a good hot and cold selection. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We were greeted by two very helpful members of reception staff The gentleman was called Ben. The room was fine, a bit of renovation needed generally but clean and bathroom good Swimming pool very warm which was nice but small Location good and nearby cafe That Place approx 30 minute walk nice for breakfast

I arrived late , the hotel seemed pretty standard for this chain I needed food and the restaurant was about to close I ordered a burger £16 it was all fine apart from the burger itself which had clearly been cooked at some point but not that day ! Grey and hard severely over cooked Had it not been late and I hadn't been so tired I would have sent it straight back The cookie they love to give you "fresh baked" was also dry as a desert 🌵. Shame Not a culinary triumph The room was as expected Although any hotel that doesn't put a bottle of water by the side of the bed needs to wise up

Great for venues don't exactly sure on cost but they bent over backwards to put a good meal I've been on two occasions one last year the other later April both time couldn't fault the staff at all. It's situated on the A61 between NORTON PUB AND BOWSHAW TOBY CARVERY NR chesterfield bypass

Stayed at this hotel due to a funeral being close by and the wake being at the hotel itself and we are not from around the area. Good points are that it's close to Meadowhall, easy to find and clean rooms. Also staff were helpful and nice. Disappointed with the food. Chicken fried rice, full of oil. Omelette - given cheese when not wanted. Not many gluten/dairy free options and for me that was a struggle due to having crohn's. Thankfully, they did give our money back but breakfast wasn't much better either. Requested quiet rooms when booking and outside two of our rooms (we had 3) was building works that were right outside drilling at 8am. After travelling for 6 day the night before, this wake up call was not welcomed. Very disappointed and will not be returning in a rush.

We had a great couple of days visiting family. This was one of the few hotels that accept dogs in rooms (ground floor garden rooms). We managed to book two adjoining rooms with the kids in one and the parents with our golden retriever in the other. It's a good job we had two rooms as they are quite small! Staff were generally excellent, the breakfast ladies particularly. It was great to see a chain hotel employing welcoming local staff (rather than disinterested staff from all over the world) and their friendly, prompt, efficient service made a good breakfast great. They could not do enough to help. We didn't go to the pool which was a shame. It looked very small and they had certain hours where kids weren't allowed. Fair enough but it always seemed to be when we wanted to go! As with all Hilton Hotels drinks are stupidly expensive so we bought our own mini bottles from Morrisons down the road for a fraction of the price and asked for glasses. Worked a treat! All in all pretty positive, particularly as Mr Tesco picked up the bill via Hotels.com Took some organising getting the right rooms but I found staff on the phone very helpful
