Excellent service and friendly staff, location is superb. Nice facility for swimming and gym. No bath in the new modern rooms, but I prefer the open shower screen. Coffee, tea and biscuits in room and very good quality.
Great hotel, clean and spacious bedrooms with all the facilities you need and lovely leisure area with pool, spa, steam room & jacuzzi. All staff were friendly and helpful and it’s great to call down and get fresh milk for you Room.
This is a great hotel with excellent facilities and a lovely pool, sauna and bar. Conveniently located for access North and South and only 15 mins from Central Sheffield. Very comfortable clean rooms and the bed was extremely comfortable and large. One of the quietest hotels I've stayed at and check out at 12 is a definite bonus.
Stayed here for one night. Arrived on Saturday evening and checked out Sunday noon. Check in was easy and cookies were a nice touch! Got to the room and was very disappointed. Old and dated and no personal touches at all. I’ve stayed a Hilton double tree in Scotland and this was a huge difference. Basic toiletries, no robes, noisy bathroom, uncomfortable pillows and dark room with inadequate lighting. Ordered breakfast to the room on Sunday morning so we could have a lie in. Breakfast was disappointing, only Luke warm and Danish pastries tasted oily! Room service tried to come in to clean the room twice before check out at noon! Why can’t they wait until after check out!??? Will not be staying here again should have booked ibis for cheaper and lowered my expectations.
We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way home to Scotland from Southampton. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. The room was spacious and very clean and had all the usual facilities including free wifi.
Recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for the ease of access to the surrounding cities. Upon arrival the hotel staff were very helpful and welcomed us with the signature warm cookies. I opted for the King Deluxe Suite as I was there for 3 nights and the rooms itself was very spacious with the added feature of a separate living space complete with a dining table and a sofa. The bed was extremely comfy, one of the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. My only disappointment with the room was that the decor is quite out dated (compared with other double tree hotels) and is in need of an up-lift. The food in the hotel was reasonably priced and was of good taste, and the speed of service was great! On a whole the hotel is well presented, good value and generally what you would expect from the Hilton brand.
Average hotel. Average rooms. Average food. Very noisy bathroom fab so a relaxing bath was not an option. Helpful staff. I expected more for the price I paid with regards to the room and food. Arrived late to the hotel after a long day of flights from America and traveling, and I went to the restaurant 10minutes before they finished serving food and I was turned away and told to go to the bar. The food was poor at the bar.
Attentive and polite staff throughout, perfect room as always with no outside or adjoining noise, lovely meal in the restaurant which was of a very high standard both in flavour and presentation and excellent response from care team. The only negative for us was no phone signal on two networks whilst in the room.
Very well located between Chesterfield and Sheffield ideal for meetings and to bring family and friends, , very friendly staff, very clean and good service, plenty of parking, Good food, and a good nights sleep. Everything you would expect from. A Hilton hotel
Had a one night stay here and no complaints at all. Staff at check in very friendly, room spot on for price and hotel generally very good. Spa is good but a touch on the small side, changing rooms cramped, steam room and sauna good for 6 people max but all fully functional and clean. Would stay again.
