Just got back after two nights, was made to feel very welcome.staff in all areas helpful and friendly we stayed on the Easter break tarif with breakfast which had a very good choice of hot and continental food.wish we had time to try evening meals but were visiting family nearby, rooms very comfortable with nice toiletries, tea coffee ect.loved the scented candles as you enter at night,in all a very well run hotel will return.

What a view at the garden of the hotel! I quit smoking 4 months before i stayed at this hotel but the view was so nice that i started smoking again looking at the sea from the garden. It was quiet and the weather was nice. The rooms were nice and big. You have everything you need. I would stay again.

We stayed for two nights over the Easter break with our toddler. The staff friendliness and overall customer service was exceptional. We’ve stayed in 6star hotels that have been no better. They couldn’t do more to help from Sophie on reception to the staff delivering room service, waiting staff in the restaurant (food was delicious too). Stand out service across the board - and we made a few awkward asks for a fridge to be delivered (they brought one right up) and indecipherable breakfast orders (they just gave us extra food). Also there were Easter egg hunts, chocolate eggs on arrival, face painting, fresh fruit juices and hot crossed buns - above and beyond in every way. The hotel is being renovated so there is scaffolding on the outside but inside whilst it could be a bit more modern it had luxury and quality in all the right places, from fluffy towels to lovely toiletries and a super comfy bed with high thread count linens. Spot on. Couldn’t ask for more.

Upon arriving at the Marriott the staff could see instantly I was unwell offered a honey and lemon drink immediately. Manager showed us to our room and arranged for more honey and lemon to be delivered to room. The staff kept checking to make sure if there was anything else the staff could do for me. We extended our stay numerous times as I was diagnosed with pneumonia. The breakfast , bar food and restaurant was 5 star my husband and I would recommend travellers stay here as the hotel is close to shops and the wharf with many tourist attractions close by.

Breakfast was £15-16 - in Swansea! Rooms ordinary, hotel felt like it had seen better days and needed some TLC. Must be better value for money elsewhere in the city. Only redeeming feature is that it’s located on Swansea Bay and close proximity to city centre.

Stayed here one night for business purposes. This time they were quite reasonable for the room prices and the room was the the usual Marriott quality. The evening food was acceptable although quite limited choice. Good breakfast and very pleasant staff.

Solid choice for a Swansea hotel - it's in the Maritime Quarter, right next to the sea, so if you like walks along the beach then it's a great spot (it's about 6-7 minutes on foot from the edge of the main bit of town). It's worth noting that the hotel is undergoing renovation at the moment and is covered in scaffolding...the rooms are decent though and I'd like to thank Samantha on reception for a walk welcome. Great service!

At an extra cost I booked a room with a marina view. It was on the first floor and very spacious. The view of the marina was extremely poor due to scaffolding and 3 trees very close to the window which obstructed my view. I asked staff on reception for a room with a better view. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked so my request was unsuccessful. I would imagine the view would be worse in summer because the trees would be in leaf. On a more positive note the staff were very professional. Nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff arranged a complimentary bottle of wine, cake and strawberries for my wife's birthday.

The hotel was covered in scaffolding, but it didn't detract from the view of the marina or the beach. The staff were lovely as was the food. Our room was quite large and roomy with two double beds and though the wardrobe and drawer space was enough for the two of us for the weekend, it wouldn't have been enough for more than 2 people for more than 2 nights. It was clean and comfortable, i don't need anything more.

We stayed here as a family last weekend, we choose this hotel as it allowed us all to stay in the one room which was what was needed. The hotel was lovely but it is having intensive repair work done so unfortunately our lovely view of the marina which I was so excited about was blocked by scaffolding. The rooms were clean and tidy but I do wish they could have been a little bigger as literally moving around the beds was an issue. The staff were welcoming, the breakfast nice and all not a bad stay. Though i am sure once the work has been completed it will be better as the scaffolding was rather intense and i was gutted about my view.
