We had enjoyable stay. Staff were helpful after booking us in a room that we needed to change as we required two doubles and were only given one. Dinner was lovely and the breakfast was excellent although you should pre book to receive it a reduced price of £12 instead of £15.95 which is bit steep in my opinion. Breakfast times were busy around 9am. Dinner and breakfast staff service was good. Leisure facilities were good with a Sauna and Swim. The gym is not big enough with limited equipment. Room cleaning service was daily but not all areas of the room were cleaned The day of check out was busy and it was disappointing to find out that a premier league team were staying and this was the hotel priority. Although we were paying guest all week as we checked out a few hours before the teams arrival we were asked to leave. Harsh considering there was a young fan amongst our group to see if he could meet one or two of them -players. I think the hotel could of done more here I feel. This may be down to the travelling army of security that came with them and their request not to be seen with guests. Again the staff were really helpful throughout our stay. One last thing to bear in mind is the over the top prices for purchasing wifi - no need!

I was almost immediataly greeted with a trolley to put my cases on and they were very easy to wheel.Comfy bed but pillows a bit flat so had to put all 4 on top of eachother, was fine after.Tea and coffee facilities,TV in room.Cost of coffee is £3.50 so take advantage of coffee in your room.Suitcase stand, wardrobe.Samples of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, plenty of clean towels available.Swansea Bay TV swansea's own TV channel on ch8/9!Cooked breakfast on the first day was cold at 8:40 (beans, egg hash browns) but was better on 2nd and 3rd day.Bananas were not available on first breakfast but were thereafter.A selection of yoghurts, chopped fruits, ham, cheese, bread rolls, croissants, muffins, apples, toast, cereals such as rice crispies, corn flakes and coco pops.Orange juice, apple juice, tea and coffee.Very friendly breakfast staff eager to help.If you want to take anything with you for lunch the staff would offer you a bag to take it in very handy. One small critisism there were no drink cartons for takeaway only cups and i had asked for a waKe up call for 6am and did not get it but luckily i woke myself at 5:50am so please set your own alarm. There is a swimming pool and gym for use which it included in room charge. Breakfast is an additional £15 quite expensive but it is good that you are allowed to take things from there for lunch with you.If you have any problem with anything, telephone reception and they will be there immediataly, for example my sink was overflowing (as i did not understand that there was a little leaver behind the tap) and they came to sort it asap.My room did not have much of a view but that did not bother me at least I got to see the tallest building in Wales.Withing walking distance from Tesco but there are 3 sets of traffic to cross and the traffic lights take a lot of time to change. When checking out,i was very pleased to have a member of staff come and help me put my cases on a trolley and keep them in storage until i needed them later that day as check out is at 12.I was given a ticket and then had to produce ticket upon my return to get my cases.Overall I was pleased with the hotel.

Fantastic beautiful location with views of the beach/ The staff and food was amazing but our room needed an update and smelt damp and musty At £195 per night I expected more We ate lunch in the bar which was lovely but expensive, the bar and restaurant area is small for the size of the hotel. Breakfast I must say was amazing and the lady chef was so helpful and friendly With a bit of an room update this would be a fabulous place to stay

Free parking and good location, used room service which was prompt, room overlooked the beech was nice view, wow air con really works which is not the case in hotels with much higher price tag top marks, overall good value for the price

Hotel itself is in a good location, near the liberty stadium. Building looks a touch old these days, and hotel in general was decent enough, but a touch shabby in places. Carpets looking a little tired in lots of parts of hotel. Reception staff were really helpfull and nice, can't say enough anout how good they were. Bar is quite small given size of hotel, and breakfast area isnt very big and was therefore very busy. Food was decent enough quality though. Not a bad hotel, but almost all other marriott's i've stayed in are generally a higher standard than this one.

The hotel is easy to find and has good outside car parking. You must remember to give your registration to reception to avoid a fine. Our room was a reasonable size with good wardrobe space. The shower was over the bath but easy to operate with a separate control. There is a swimming pool that also has some gym equipment in the same area. No outside shoes are allowed in this area so people were using the equipment with no shoes on. Breakfast was good and all the staff were very pleasant. On the downside the hotel seems to be suffering from a lack of basic maintenance. For example although we had a room with a view of Swansea Bay, two of the three windows had misted up double glazing units.

We stayed here one night ,On arrival we were checked in early after a long drive, very much appreciated.,by an older man at reception.,very helpful and friendly. Room was large overlooking marina.,very stuffy as very hot day lucky we has a/c. Beach is behind hotel, walk up through car park ,left side,go past a red pole/barrier. Town is about 10 mins away,we found it very quiet on a sunday night ,very few restaurants. Parking is free, give your car reg to hotel. We ate in the Restaurant ,food was nice and service some nicer then others.,we had 3 different servers. Bar area very small.its part of the restaurant,no foyer a round seating area.Maybe use the area to left kept for weddings ,.some nice seats here would be lovely to sit and relax in and read the paper.,no one in it when we were there looked as if a wedding had being there day before, cups ,wedding trolley etc. Breakfast ,just Wow,,the best i think we have ate in awhile.Chef was so good ,queue for eggs but handled it like a pro..lady clearing tables so helpful to everyone. Also could do up area outside restaurant area as a outside seating area.only outside area is in car park, this area could be turned into a beautiful garden, seating area playground as its wasted space and overgrown. Reception Daniel also so good at his job, very helpful. Location very good ,near beach, marina and town.

Great rooms. The bar and restaurant are excellent! Breakfast was very good. The beds were very comfy. The staff were excellent and even went out of their way to help! Car parking for guests is free otherwise it's pay and display. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Recently stayed at the Marriott. It is not the cheapest hotel in the area but it provides an all round comfortable experience. Rooms were clean and comfortable, TV had multiple channels, breakfast was plentiful and swimming pool was satisfactory. I would definitely stay again if in the area. We had a room which provided views of both marina and beach. The shopping area is approx 10 mins walk.

Situated on the waterfront next to the docks, this is a well placed hotel for both the city and for day excursions into the local area. Well appointed rooms, nice bar, good breakfast all add up to a nice place to stay. My group received excellent help for front of house staff. Large car park outside. Would be happy to return.
