Place is nice. We had a room with no balcony, which was disappointing, but we had an ocean view, that more than made up for it. The place is great overall.

The pictures of the resort on Orbitz are of the resort 10 years ago. Things are rundown and the resort needs a facelift. There were some parking and resorts fee that was not made clear to us when we booked the resort and when we checked out. The food was good and the drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly and hospitality. The beach was not as nice as the pictures, but we found a better beach experience at Fort De Soto Park 6.5 miles near by. It was a good stay but not a top ranked resort.

They had bugs in the first room they tried to give me. Also they said I would have an oceanfront room but it was only ocean view. I won’t stay there again
I recommend splurging for the full ocean view!

The beach area and areas around the beach were amazing because of the views. Views from the room were wonderful. The hotel is run down and dirty. We were charged $25/day for parking and $75/day for 2 chairs and an umbrella on the beach. We will be staying elsewhere next year. We checked out Tradewinds and it seemed so much nicer
It was beautiful, only issue was one of the pools was down our last full day!
Hello. I usually don’t write comments but this place wasn’t worth the money, They added resort fees and parking isn’t included along with staff that reek like weed. The rooms were nothing special. Definitely overpriced for what we got. The pool was terrible and the spa was 140 degrees. You couldn’t even stand in it. The beach was nice until they charged ridiculous fees for chairs and umbrellas. The raking lot was full and for 25 dollars a day I don’t expect to have to park in the far end of the property to go to my room. If you plan to stay here hit the local Walmart for an umbrella and beach chairs. Well worth the extra effort. The only positive note might be the pet friendly and convenient location. TY
