Courtyard Philadelphia South at The Navy Yard

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Not being familiar with the area, I thought it might be more out of the way than it was. Leaving the Navy Yard, you are on Broad Street, the main road into central Philly. The hotel was quiet, and I was in the room next to the elevator! The furnishings were excellent, and comfortable. The hotel staff was superb, and takes care of their guests. I was there for 6 nights, and never had any problems. The Bistro served great breakfasts, and the staff was great (kudos to Cheyenne!). I would easily recommend this place to my friends!

We arrived at @ 330 pm when check was to begin at 300pm. We didn’t get in to our room till after 5 pm. The management would not offer a discount or any other form of compensation for the delay.

Nice spot. More food options close by would make it better.

I stayed here for a quick business trip. Located inside a business park, not much walking distance to do. Hotel bar has beverages mixed with water, overpriced in my opinion. Nice fitness center, no coffee available at 6 am without making someone working do a lot of work.

Overall, very pleased with the room. I would recommend it to friends and family.

It was perfect!! Clean and huge!!!

It was great.. The check-in was easy.. I didn't get a chance to get the breakfast.. But smelt wonderful..

Only a one night stay but we were totally satisfied with everything.

Had some business in the nearby area and this hotel was within walking distance. It is a newer hotel, spotlessly clean and excellent condition. Staff was very helpful. The only downside is that the dining facility (Bistro) is just an order counter with limited menu and limited hours. The dining area is comfortable enough, though. There were not too many options of other dining facilities within walking distance. However, this may change as the surrounding area is being revitalized. Overall, good experience and the room was quiet and comfortable.

The hotel is nice - leaves something to be desired in terms of food available, particularly since it's in the middle of a naval base with nothing around it but the sports stadiums. This is perfect if you're going for a football game but if you're going as part of visiting the city itself, it's pretty far outside the city and doesn't have much around it.

The hotel is about .3 miles or a 10-15 minute walk from the Wells Fargo Center. The front-end staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the immediate area.

It was great!! Wouldnt change a thing loved it. Will be back

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. It was a great location to the Wells Fargo Center and well within walking distance which saved us parking $$... The hotel had a great Bistro which provided meals - which was a bonus surprise for me! Only glitch was the main desk(s).... there seems to be alot of training that needs to continue there as the check-in process and purchase of any snack items was a big deal. I think they are still learning their systems since it is a brand new hotel. Overall experience extremely satisfied and would definitely go again!!!

This place is a hidden gem. At first I thought I was going into a ghost town however once we got to the hotel we were very pleased. This is a perfect hotel if you are catching a game and also is only a 10 minute drive to old town. I would come back no questions asked.

very modern/new/clean hotel. Very nice and a wonderful location near all of the Philly sports arenas. ~20 min walk to Citizens bank park. The hotel is a little pricey, but it is very nice, so it makes up for that.
