This condo is located in the Marlin Arms, a bayfront complex that sits only two blocks from South Padre Island's renowned beach on the Gulf of Mexico. You'll find tons of restaurants, casual eateries, shops, bars, and recreational outfitters within a short stroll or drive. You can also rent bikes or a golf cart for the weekend and stop by Liam's Steak House & Oyster Bar around the corner for a nice sunset dinner.

Overall a good stay...

Overall the room was comfortable and we had a great stay. The location was great and was within walking distance to tons of local attractions, shops, ice cream and restaurants. The room itself could use some updates/touch up but overall okay. The on-site laundry on the 2nd floor is over an app, not change which was convenient. The view of the sunset from the pool and yard space and parking lot was 2nd to none. On select nights one of the restaurants next door does fireworks over the water. Make sure to get the parking permit for your car. Signs everywhere showing non permit vehicles will be towed.

We had a small issue with door combo....user error 😆 We were thrilled that one of the balconies was available! We saw dolphins swimming in the bay even! Beds were very comfortable! Close walk to everything!! Thank you!

The location was excellent. Walking to all the fun bar, restaurants and music! The condo space was super big, as expected. But it needed to be cleaner! We understand Florida stuff but didn’t care to see a couple cockroaches in cupboards. Two of the 3 balconies were out of order! Unsafe sharp material hung inside the living room from balcony that couldn’t be used. This building needs updated and because of its location and great living space it would be a great place to return to.

Very Disappointed

Firstly, after booking I was unable to stay in the unit on the dates selected due to work; however, even after purchasing trip insurance policy, this was not covered so I could not change the dates. Second, the owner of this condo did not maintain it, and there were filthy conditions (entryway smelled horribly of urine) for the building and also safety issues, as all 3 balcony sliding doors did not have working locks (broom handles - really??) the pool was cloudy and smelled so we couldn't use it when we wanted.
