Nothing fancy, but very clean and comfortable

Easy access right off the Redwood Highway. Good location for dining options. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants. The rooms were clean but average and we could hear the neighbors TV well into the night.

Budget motel on the north end of Brookings. Small room but pretty clean with no issues. Never felt unsafe. Time for some deferred maintenance to get handled (paint, threshold, etc) but you get what you pay for. Refrigerator was quiet and the freezer was large for a motel.

Our room was clean enough, but our door did not close well in the frame (we could see light through the top of the door). there were several smokers staying in the building behind us, and also people smoking outside next to our room. We couldn’t have our windows open due to the smoke. There is no air conditioning, but they brought us a fan when we asked. I wouldn’t stay here again.

This property is old. The bed was comfortable and clean. The facility is in bad need of maintenance and updating. The young man who helped us check in was very responsive and helpful.

This property was a great location to my outdoors needs/itinerary I had planned, being about 10-20 mins away from everything. This place is also at the start of town making it easy to get to the food stores/restaurants/coffee shops. 10/10 for location. Check in was a little rough as you only have until 9PM. There was a lady at the front giving the staff a difficult time and was unable to be assisted. When I asked if I could use the Wi-Fi as I wait so I can finish my plans for the night, I was told I can't until I am checked in and would not give me the password. I was also told if I needed to be somewhere I could pay $50 for a late check in. Luckily the woman ended her fight with the staff and I was checked in quickly after. On my check out I was given a 30 minute extension which was great and when I asked if there was a place to fill up my water bottle as it did not fit under their sink, I was told no sorry, which I found kind of baffling. The parking also was a pain as my spot in front of my door was taken, but it was easy to find the room and luckily has a parking spot a few spots over. The room was clean and simple although slightly outdated bathroom.

It was a basic room. Nothing fancy. I would definitely go there again.

The hotel room with three queen beds was a nice size for our family of five, but the bathroom seemed like it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly and the linens hadn't been replaced.

The staff was very pleasant. The rooms are a bit run down, but in the process of being renovated. The front door locked but did not seal, you could see light all the way around the door. Affordable bed for the night.

The staff was very friendly, but the place needed to be much better cleaned. The toilet was not cleaned from the previous guest also the shower had hair from the previous guest. Laundry facilities left something to be desired. There were ants in the room. I guess you get what you pay for, but this place wasn't the cheapest either.

Sheets were dirty the bathroom fan was falling out of the ceiling and the shower was dirty

It doesn’t have Air Condition. So if you’re someone who needs white noise to sleep, you’ll have a hard time sleeping. Besides, if it’s warm, you must keep the windows open to cool down. That brings noise from street and next rooms to you. Otherwise, I actually loved it.

If there is some hot water maker in office, it will be great.

I enjoyed that I was able to park my vehicle directly in front of my door. Location was easily accessible for entering and exiting. Pretty quit for most of my stay. The room itself was pretty spacious.

Always clean, fast check ins, friendly and helpful staff. Great rates

Thanks for the review. I am currently working on some of the maintenance issues on the exterior and this winter the focus will be on the interior. Hope you can come to stay with us again.

I am sorry about your less than satisfactory stay. Not sure which room you stayed in while here but I can assure you that all the doors are being looked at for the exact problem you have stated. Four doors have already been addressed and are fixed.

We are terribly sorry you had issues with the cleanliness of your room. That is not our standard. We have new staff and we will bring it up with them. We would have been happy to come and clean it and replace the towels if we had been aware during your stay.
