The best benefit the hotel has, is location. You are in the city center, near a lot of restaurants, mall, stores, public transportation. The view from my room was directly to the Castle, so it was great. Breakfast is good in quality and variety. There are two things I'd suggest for improvement: access to the tub/shower was a little bit difficult (the tub is high and even with the rubber rug, it was slippery to get in) and the shower was on one side (not as usually, at the end of tub), so it was a little bit uncomfortable(nothing you cannot live with, but, yes, uncomfortable!). The second improvement would be the room's door: I woke up every night with the noise of other room's doors closing out. Overall, a good hotel for me to stay for a business week.
We spent four nights in Brno. The hotel was very pretty, the breakfast was amazing, and we very much enjoyed the wellness area. The location of the hotel was just perfect, close to the train station and to the castle, too.
First of all, the hotel stuff are really nice! They helped me a lot, they answered every question I've had and the did it with a huge smile on their faces! The hotel is clean, the gym is really good, the pool is nice. The rooms are good enough. Breakfast is good and the hotel Bar is great with delicious food! the hotel is right at the center of Brno! The only thing I didn't liked at the hotel was the background music, it was repeating itself every 5 minutes, and I spent a lot of time there... If I'll be in Brno again, I will stay at this hotel!
Excellent hotel and, of course, quite expensive. Wonderful position, just in front of Spilberk castle and in the core of the city centre. Breakfast is very nice and plentiful (at buffet). Rooms are modern, very clean and large equipped with satellite TV, AC and minibar. Sauna and gym are for free.
Unfortunately this hotel isn't as great as it sounds or looks on the website. It is located in the centre which is very convenient for restaurants, bars and shopping but all else is very average. The rooms are quite old and stuffy. The air con isn't manual (at least not in room 910), and the fuse box broke twice which wasn't easy to fix. The staff don't speak English very well and the service is slow for the majority of things, including always just one member of staff on reception. House keeping don't tend to look at 'do not disturb' signs too much which defeats the purpose of using them. All in all, I wouldn't really recommend this hotel unless you are using it solely to sleep in.
Stayed 3 nights for a conference. The hotel has a lot going for it, especially a great location so mostly everything is in walking distance. While close to the center of the action the property feels spacious and the view of the castle is a bonus. A nice breakfast buffet in the sunny dining room got our days off to a relaxing start. Conference support was excellent- not a single glitch in the IT support. The space was clean and even though it was 100 degrees outside everyone inside was very comfortable. Conference attendees also enjoyed the stylish lounge area. Host your conference here and you'll be very happy. Staff was helpful and overall we had a pleasant stay. There are a few quirks that I should mention that can be an issue for some: The tub/shower configuration in our room was the worst we've ever experienced. (See photo.) The tub is slightly elevated so you have to step up to get in and even with the gripping tub pad it was still dangerously slippery. The shower was attached to the side wall, not to the end of the wall, so the water was aimed to spray out of the tub! You can try to turn it but the angle combined with the swinging glass half-wall shower door meant that there is no way to keep the water in the tub. We got tired of mopping up the bathroom floor and hanging on trying not to fall so we ended up having to sit in the tub. If you have mobility issues you definitely need to confirm which shower configuration your room will have. I should also mention that the hotel had elevator issues during our stay. The one on the left was often out of order. On our last day I risked it and got in and immediately regretted it. It was a very hot day so the elevators were quite warm. I pushed the button to go to the lobby and it behaved as if it had a mind of its own. After a few scary seconds when the doors closed and nothing happened it took me down past the lobby and opened on the 2nd floor. The good news is the staircases are carpeted and open so I took the stairs after that. Another small detail - our room did not have an iron and ironing board so we had to request them. Easy enough, but as a hotel that caters to business travelers it would be better to have them in all rooms.
Here for three nights and had paid to upgrade to a suite That said - the aircon never worked despite repeated requests for help to get it fixed. The hotel apart from that is good - good bar area for socialising The breakfast was very varied and plentiful The hotel is right in the heart of Brno and provides great access to the main square Very good location
The Best Western Premier Hotel in Brno is a typical Business Hotel with a good Standard - in the case, you have a refurbished room. The Hotel is located in the historical City Center of Brno which allows short ways to Pubs, Restaurants or cultural Events. Restaurant and Bar in the Best Western are on a very good, serviceoriented Level. Same for Breakfast.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 days and what a lovely place! Clean, modern, excellent breakfast, great lounge, comfortable room, a decent price and seatings outside where you can enjoy the weather 🤗 - The location is magnificent 👌🏻 BUT.... Here's where det fun ends. Even though the breakfast was almost perfect, the women serving there were horrible! The younger girls were really kind and smiling, but from 25-30'ish and up - they were rude, arrogant, looked like they just discovered someone had been pi***** in their coffey every day for the last decade and NOT serviceminded what so ever. I sincerely felt uncomftable going there, so I decided to pay for my own coffey at the loungebar and ONLY went down there to eat. And fast! 😔😖 The staff at the loungebar on the other hand where amazing! Loved them 🤗❤️ Staff in reception were also smiling and very helpfull 👍 The parking charges are a bit expensive 16/18€ a day (too expensive in my opinion) and the day we arrived the pool area was closed. A bit disappointing after 5 days in "sunny dessert heat Prague" where all you could think of was a chilly pool. Over all a great hotel! 😊🌺 Such a shame a few staff members ruin the overall experience. I would probably not return 😏
