Stracta Hótel Hella

Great Stay At A Great Place

This is a very nice place kind out in the middle of no where, but we found it a convenient place to book and stay. Highly recommend it!

Lilja Guesthouse

Simple accomodations meet big finale

The hotel is comfortable and easy to get to. With that said, it is remote enough where we saw the most amazing Auora Borealis. It completely made the stay. The staff was exceptionally polite and breakfast was delicious. All around, i would recommend the Lilja Guesthouse. Sometimes, it’s very good to get away from it all for some peace, quiet, and amazing views.

Brekkugerdi Guesthouse

Hidden gem in great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It’s a little hidden gem in a very convenient location! The room was extremely clean with a great attached bathroom (and a fantastic rain shower head with perfect pressure). There are lots of places to grab dinner in driving distance. It’s in a quiet area and got a great night of sleep. Unfortunately, it was super rainy and cloudy all day and night so we didnt get a chance to see Aurora, but it’s probably a great location to see it on the right night! We had a great breakfast in the morning with plenty of food and coffee! We would highly recommend this to travelers!

Vatnsholt - Guest House

Nice and quiet

This hotel is nice and quiet. Stayed at the deluxe room which was nice and roomy. The only downside is that you need to walk to the main reception building to get drinks and there’s no kettle in the room to make your own hot water. Also, the jacuzzi inside the bathroom was “yellow” and did not appeared to maintain well. Otherwise, the staff is nice. The area is dark enough to see the northern lights. Overall is a pleasant stay, would recommend if you’re into the countryside experience.
