I don't know what we did in a previous life toto deserve this, but upon arrival at hotel Dvorak we were told we were upgraded to the deluxe double bedroom. In hindsight, I wouldn't have it any other way. The GIANT room is beautiful, with a giant bathroom, bedroom, closet room and amazing view of the river. The location is perfect. The perfect hotel in the perfect town

We stayed at Dvorak and absolutely loved its location. We got a room on the second floor with a unbeatable view of the castle. Room had plenty of space, comfortable double bed, a closet, desk, two chairs and a small table. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. The front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with great selection of fruits, cheese, ham, bacon, tea, coffee, etc. A plus: Free Wifi! I recommend this hotel and would book a room again on our next visit to Cesky Krumlov.

We stayed at this hotel in Cesky Krumlov a few months ago, it was glorious! Our room overlooked the most beautiful bridge in town, and everything was so enjoyable, the room itself, breakfast, service, even lunch at the hotel's restaurant. I would definitely go back again.

Dvorak was the best hotel in our entire trip to Czech Republic.. Excellent location and extremely beautiful view from the hotel. We were given a room with the balcony and the views from there and the windows were beyond stunning and spectacular. The room and the bathroom were quite big and comfortable. The hotel is near to the castle and old town square and the river nearby adds to the charm of the hotel. We would highly recommend the hotel and would love to return back. Just a small mention... would have appreciated even more if the staff is a bit more friendlier and also if the breakfast starts a little earlier. We had to miss ours as had a train to catch back to Prague. Also while we chose the hotel, we loved the open restaurant by riverside but to our dismay if was closed when we visited. I would suggest that it should be open all round the year. All in all... We had a wonderful stay and would choose it everytime if we visit Cesky Krumlov. Thanks :)

Hotel is in a great location but choose your room wisely. I was put in a loft bedroom without any offer to assist me with my baggage (only stair access). Being a tall person I repeatedly bumped into beams. Worst was the constant smell of food wafting up at night. The receptionist on duty when I checked out was a lot friendlier than the one on my arrival.

The hotel is located right next to the old wooden bridge that links the old town square to the castle. It takes approx. 10 mins to walk leisurely to the castle grounds. Depending on where your room is located, you may get a good view of the castle/castle museum, as the hotel faces the castle. Our room faced the street below, but as we were on the third floor, it still gave us a good view of the St Vitus church in the morning. It was beautiful! Although we were facing the main street, it was pretty quiet at night, so we had a good night's sleep. The room was of a good size. We had space to walk comfortably with 2 suitcases (1 medium sized, 1 cabin sized) laid open on the floor. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety to choose from, and we were woken up by the aroma of breakfast all the way from our room! There is a very good restaurant in one of the small streets just outside the hotel which sells traditional Bohemian food (U Dwau Maryi). A few small complaints: 1) The lifts operate without needing the access passes, so anyone can go up to the room. 2) No tags were given when we deposited out suitcases with the front desk, and the suitcases were just places in the open lobby area next to the counter, where anyone can access. I suppose the counter receptionist would recognise hotel guests, but how would s/he know if a guest was taking the correct suitcase? 3) Wifi was unstable and very slow if you do manage to connect onto it. 4) Cold attitude from hotel staff.

Dvorak is a good option in Cesky Krumlov. The room was big for what we expected. It was clean and the breakfast was nice. The cleaning service staff was very friendly and effective. The location was excellent. Granted the walk down the cobblestones from the train station tested the wheels of my carryon suitcase beyond anything it had ever experienced. But otherwise, the hotel was perfectly located for everything you'd want to see in the town. The value was good as well. You get a little road/pedestrian noise in the room we were in. But it wasn't too bad. I would stay there again.

We liked the location of this hotel, right by the river and close to everything. Our room was huge and old fashioned but cosy. It was right next to the lift so a bit noisy at times. Breakfast was fairly ordinary with quite a tired selection though the wine was good as was the yoghurt and fruit. The coffee was that dreadful machine muck and the juice from a carton. The staff were quite dour and when I asked about gluten free bread I was simply given a very curt "no". Overall the price was good but the service a little lacklustre and we went up the road for decent coffee and good food

Hotel Dvorak is situated right in the heart of Cesky Krumlov. You are on the banks of the Vltava River and look out your window at the Castle. It is an old and regal building that is very comfortable and we are very happy we chose to stay here. We were in a standard double room which was very clean, large, had a very comfortable bed, and the shower/bathroom was of considerable size. The breakfast was great, one of the best so far on this trip. We drove and had some trouble with the GPS in locating the Hotel as it is a no-drive area, but the receptionist very kindly saved us, thank you. A point to mention is that the car park is about 8 minutes walk away from the hotel, but you can catch a taxi, and most of the hotels seem to have this arrangement. We wouldn't let that stop us staying here again.Highly recommend this hotel, and Cesky Krumlov is a must see place.

Hotel was located right in the middle of a not to be missed place while in Czech Republic or Austria and located overlooking the river. Quaintness is an understatement. Cute shops, good eating and friendliness all around. This little town is the best place to shop for garnets that I have found. Found all the shopkeepers kind and friendly.
