They gave me a room that had an employee already living in. The manager told me to stay in the room and they would clean out the stuff in the morning. Came back from dinner to find 2 people laying on the bed. Management comped the room 1 night and gave me another room.

Bed was very comfortable, but the rest of stay was not up to what I expected. TV remotes were dirty, couch sagged and was uncomfortable. Hotel is old and not maintained, buffet breakfast had limited selections.

This place looks like a bomb was dropped on it back in 1984.

My daughter and I were on a weekend get away to spend time with friends. The hotel wasn't the greatest but definitely not the worst. Staff really didn't talk any more than they had to. A few things didn't work in the room....hair dryer, heat light in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi wasn't worth much. Refrigerator didn't keep things very cold. Curtains were off some of the hangers. Water pressure in shower sucked. I think I should've spent and extra $20 and upgraded to a better hotel.

The experience was not good. Stayed 3 nights and our room was never cleaned.

I cannot recommend this site. With many other choices, I recommend stop somewhere else. The breakfast wad good but the room was poor. No cleaning just new towels

Nice place, clean rooms. Staff was friendly and had clean sheets

This place was a great hotel in it's day. Unfortunately, I think it's day was sometime in the late 80's.... The "good": Easy access to I-80, Steak & Shake practically across the road and it was quiet. The "bad": Pretty much everything else. We were on the second floor where the hallway A/C was non-existent (unplugged, control panel gone, broken parts visible) - not good during a Summer stay. The room A/C was not on before we got there and the room had not been used or aired out in some time based on the smell. The pool was "under construction", but peering through the paper covering the windows showed that the area was being used for general storage with at both paintings and room lamps visible. Breakfast was more miss than hit, but at least we got something since we were in the breakfast area right after everything was set up. Of course, we still had to wait while the front desk person made three or four waffles despite my son standing there waiting. Customer service or consideration anyone? While I was "lucky" enough to miss them, both my wife and kids saw bugs crawling in various places that I suspect were cockroaches based on their description. Toilet was wobbly and definitely not secured to the floor. Bathroom in general looked in poor condition so we just avoided it entirely and showered as soon as we got to our next hotel. Of course, with all those negatives, I'm sure you're asking why we even bothered to stay. First, it was dirt cheap compared to the area hotels although now I know why and second, this was a stop-over in the middle of a 1000 mile drive so we just needed a place to crash for the night. That being said, I wouldn't stay here overnight again if I can help it, regardless of how cheap it is.

Wonderful staff, comfortable room. AC worked well, beds comfortable, property was clean, breakfast good (usual make-your-own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, and other standard fare, like muffins). For those looking for a budget motel, a very good choice. Internet got sketchy on me for a while, but was very good at other times. When they get the pool back in service, this could be a really outstanding option, but it's still a place I'd stay at again, regardless.

Not enough staff.only 1 person was not able to keep up with check outs and keep up with breakfast area ran out of coffee and food. Poor management staffing. Could use remodeling.

Noisy, dripping tub faucet Tremendous lobby staff - very helpful

This was just what the doctor ordered for our family. We got the needed rest to be refreshed for another days travel to YellowStone.

Average hotel, but comfortable stay. Good location.

Overall, the hotel stay was very nice. Could tell that it was an older hotel and could use some updating in overall presentation. However, the rooms were well kept and beds were very comfortable and was worth the rate. We all had a very nice/restful stay on our family road trip. Unfortunately, we were not there long enough to access the pool and other extra amenities.

Overall a very positive stay. The room did have a few querks, such as the hot and cold being reversed on the sink controls. And it was a bit annoying to have to go to the desk every day to get the card reset. Two days in a row we came back to the room with our arms full of the day's activities and our cards wouldn't work to open the room's door. But otherwise it was what we expected for the price.

Pleasant staff. No problems with room.

Hotel should of in my opinion shut down the first floor while it was being remodeled. Also when checking online it lists a hot tub and swimming pool as being available but when I arrived found out no hot tub. The staff was gracious and tried but as stated above the whole lower floor should of been closed until remodeling was complete.

We paid for a room with a queen bed. There is NO way that bed was a queen. It was most definitely a full. Shame on the Quality Inn for passing it off as a queen. Even when we inquired about the size of the bed, the young lady working the front desk said to our faces, "It has two queens." We were puzzled. We told her it, "There is one bed in there, and it is not a queen." She checked again, and assured us that it was indeed a queen, according to her computer. We did not put up a fuss, because it seemed like she might cry at any type of confrontation. When we decided to swallow our pride, we discovered that the bed was full of crumbs, and the sheets were not clean. Late at night, there was no hot water available in either the shower or sink. Later at night, we could clearly hear the man in the next room coughing and sneezing. Other than the lobby, the hotel was not in good shape. The carpet was dingy and ripped in places. The walls are thin. The rooms are not cleaned. Do NOT stay at this hotel.

We have stayed at other hotels in the area in the past and found this to be, by far, the best value we have come across. In every respect we found it to match up with other hotels in the area yet it was less expensive than most and located in the middle of dining and shopping with great access to I-80. All in all a great experience!!
