Very quiet hotel, rooms are very good size with quiet heating system

We arrived at 1130 pm to find the most helpful Front Desk Personnel in Michael! We had to leave before breakfast to catch a train and he made sure there was coffee for us and little something to eat! We felt like we had gone back in time to when service was important! Thank you for going the extra mile Michael and thank you LaQuinta!

I recommend the La Quinta at the entrance to the airport. Everything is "spot on" there and we use it frequently on business trips to that area.

La Quinta was very clean but its amenities were limited. Breakfast was fine , but could have been better. There was no fresh fruit at all during our stay. The pool and exercise room were marginal at best. Nevertheless, its cleanliness, more than anything else, made it good place to stay.

I don't know if I'm just cheap, but I didn't feel like I got $115 worth out of this stay. The room was nice, bed was very comfortable and I slept great. There were urine stains on the rim of the toilet, which was gross, the bedside lamp didn't work, and I felt the location was very desolate. It was convenient because I got off the train and walked right to the hotel in a few minutes, but there was nothing to do nearby. Not a bad stay, but not memorably good either.

The holel was really nice and the location is great. The bedroom looks really nice but the bed sheet and the covers had hairs. I called the front desk who came and changed the sheets other than that it was a good experience.

Very nice comfortable room nice beds, good breakfast, kids had fun

After finding the hotel (we got off on the wrong exit), we had a nice stay on each of the two nights we stayed--one on the way out and one night on our way back from our trip. We had a king room both nights. The rooms were big, with a sitting area and second tv and desk separate from the sleeping area. There was a pull out couch to accommodate an extra person or two in the room. The hotel is literally right next to the airport, very handy. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. We'll definitely stay there again.

Nice place. Good rooms. Love that is is on the airport campus.

The gal at the front desk was not friendly at all. Unusual for a LQ hotel. She didn't say "HI" when we arrived, just walked away from her group of friends to her comp & said "got a reservation?" I don't think she even looked at me. Really put the hotel in a bad light. The desk guy in the morn was nice. The hotel was pretty empty, but put us right next to elevator. Fortunately we had a small fan w/us to drown out noise from that. The room itself was very nice and comfortable-looks like it's been newly remodeled. We love LQ but not sure we'd stay here again.

I attended an event at Notre Dame, and my wife and kids stayed in the hotel with me. The room was big and comfortable, and the pool and free breakfast pleased everyone. The staff at breakfast were friendly, although breakfast ended at 9:30 a.m. before 11 a.m. checkout. The room was not particularly close to Notre Dame, but I wasn't drinking, either. We certainly would stay there again, as our kids are under 7. I probably would stay elsewhere if it was just for me and my wife, although it would cost us more.

Pretty normal for a business trip to South Bend, IN.

The hotel common areas and the suite I stayed in looked nice and clean. The suite had a smell as if it was a smoking room in the past and was converted to a nonsmoking. Staff claims the hotel is a nonsmoking facility but some people does not seem to respect that: I came across those fumes in the second floor corridor once and the smell in my suite says otherwise. Breakfast was really good for continental (yogurt, bread, bagels, jams, boiled eggs, butter, coffee, milk, waffles, sweet treats) Did not see the pool, so can't comment on that. Very close to airport, 5 min drive from Arby's, McDonalds, 7 eleven, gas stations.

Very conveniently located on the turn-about near Regional Airport, although we drove from Indianapolis and Kansas City

The hotel and room were clean and the employees were friendly. Giving directions at times was not a strong suit, but we got where we wanted to go.

Did not try amenities like the pool but the suite was very nice, with a refrigerator and a microwave, iron and ironing board, and a coffee maker. Modern TV and nice air conditioning unit. Plenty of electric outlets to connect all laptops, cell phone charging units, etc. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. The breakfast was adequate but did not have anything special that other hotel/motels did not offer. Overall we had a very good experience here.

Location is great for airport, okay for ND games, is next to airport but very quite and away from other businesses. Hotel appeared recently redone floor to ceiling, rooms very clean & comfortable, staff was friendly.

The fact that it was right by the airport was the only thing the hotel has going for it.

Pleasant comfortable, safe location. Fridge in room a real help

Nice rooms, nice facility overall, but the staff absolutely didn't have a clue. Cancelled my reservation for late arrival even though I called to inform them. Morning desk person totally blamed everything on night person and was not empowered to make any changes to rectify. No management person ever on site to resolve. Would not recommend.
