It is great to have a nice place by the airport in a "small" town like South Bend. The staff is very good and they do an outstanding job with the shuttle!
Closest hotel to the airport, so super convenient. Despite being close to the airport I found it to be very quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was welcoming and helpful.
First room wasn’t clean. Over experience wasn’t great.

Staff was friendly. Our room was very warm. Couldnt get it to cool down. Note it was over the indoor pool. I had heat off and had to open the window to cool it down some. Breakfast was great!

We arrived at 1130 pm to find the most helpful Front Desk Personnel in Michael! We had to leave before breakfast to catch a train and he made sure there was coffee for us and little something to eat! We felt like we had gone back in time to when service was important! Thank you for going the extra mile Michael and thank you LaQuinta!
I recommend the La Quinta at the entrance to the airport. Everything is "spot on" there and we use it frequently on business trips to that area.
La Quinta was very clean but its amenities were limited. Breakfast was fine , but could have been better. There was no fresh fruit at all during our stay. The pool and exercise room were marginal at best. Nevertheless, its cleanliness, more than anything else, made it good place to stay.
I don't know if I'm just cheap, but I didn't feel like I got $115 worth out of this stay. The room was nice, bed was very comfortable and I slept great. There were urine stains on the rim of the toilet, which was gross, the bedside lamp didn't work, and I felt the location was very desolate. It was convenient because I got off the train and walked right to the hotel in a few minutes, but there was nothing to do nearby. Not a bad stay, but not memorably good either.
