The view is out of this world! Stunning! As well as the spectacular house! We just returned from a wonderful 8 day vacation in St. Lucia, we stayed at Villa Piton and a high-dollar resort in the north of the island- this was hands-down our favorite place to stay! After a long drive from Castries (the roads actually aren't bad) Mary welcomed us with a hot and ready meal that was wonderful. (Have Mary cook for you, you WON'T regret it!) Then had to jump in the pool to catch that spectacular sunset!
Villa Piton is just incredible. The artwork and architecture are lovely, my favorite has to be the planters with the faces on them as well as the beautiful stone wall with the carved fish. Even the tile work in the bathrooms are stunning and will put a smile on your face! The beds were havens and all the rooms were airy and comfortable (even in August!).
We spent most of our time at the Villa (I mean, how could you leave?) and spent our evenings in the game room, playing pool, darts and playing board games and our days were spent splashing around in the refreshing pool and taking in that view (you'd be hard-pressed to find a better one on the island, or in the Caribbean for that matter!)
We did manage to venture down to Sugar Beach, it is a short drive down the hill, and it is definitely worth checking out. It was our favorite beach of all the ones we visited. The water was warm and clear, the beach was sandy white and there were dining options and excursion options- (No thank you, we need to get back to Villa Piton!) which are great to get out and see the island. My mom and I decided to walk down one day... on our way up we regretted it but half way up we got a ride back. Also, it seems like EVERYONE knows Mary down the hill and at the beach and that made us feel very safe and well-cared for.
Also, a quick shout-out to Kermit, thanks for answering all our questions and making our stay seamless, you have been very prompt and made us feel very good about booking our first VRBO! Many thanks!
Have you ever been to a place where it is so beautiful it doesn't seem real? Well this IS that place! Paradise Found... We hope to return to St. Lucia and Villa Piton!
