    4/5 Good

Property location is stunning.....be aware there is no air conditioning anywhere within the property and only when the sun goes down does it get cool. Pool is a stunner with it's infinity edge and picture perfect view. Food was creative and enjoyable but prices are very high although everywhere on the island this seems to be the case.......Staff did not exude hospitality but seemed to tolerate their guests while providing service. The only person exuding a big smile and friendly hospitality was the Guest Service Manager/Owner whom we only saw 1 day during our visit but she is a gem! The Hotel offers a Shuttle to Sugar Beach but also informs that the $50 per person for chaise loungers can be used for food and beverage purchases at the Viceroy Resort and this is not correct so be forewarned that 2 people renting chaise lounges will set you back $100 and a Romaine salad with Chicken at Sugar beach is $40, the free beach is filled with local youths trying to force you to but handmade palm frond junk and sell you marijuana so avoid this side of the Sugar beach area as they do not venture onto the resort side fortunately. The rest of the island is very underdeveloped and unfortunately poverty is evident everywhere and roads are poor unless you are inside a resort. The Tree to Bean and Bean to bar experience was fun and informative. Overall a memorable experience
