EXCURSIONS: Local tour operators offer a wide variety of excursions, including whale watching, deep sea fishing, white water rafting, mountain biking, and a a jeep safari that includes a 28 level waterfall where you can climb up the last 8 cascades.

AIRPORTS: The closest is Puerto Plata (POP) but Santiago (STI) is an option. Taxis can be arranged in advance for both.

My overall impression was good property looked at nice clean a little outdated could use some new bathroom features better fixtures but overall place was amazing location in the heart of everything walking distance right in front of you a beach a 8 minute walk probably less great area great space.

Great stay

First time not staying in a hotel in Sosua and I like this better because it is like a home away from home. Ramona was great in communication as I had issues with airline changing day of flight as well as flight delays on day of arrival. Delay caused her to stay later to check me in on arrival. She was able to accommodate changes because of the airline. My favorite feature was the balcony, the roar of the ocean and partial water views were great. This is not a new facility but nice and the location was a main decision factor because I did not want to need to rent a car. Location is right where you want to be to walk to where you want to go. Taxi stand is right around the corner if needed.
