We stayed here for 4 nights when visiting Sorrento on a friend's recommendation and were very pleased with it. Staff were always friendly. The pool area is small but gloriously sunny and we always got comfortable seats. The rooms were a good size, spotlessly clean and comfortable with a/c and a minbar. Our balcony was lovely - only thing that could have been improved was the weak shower. Breakfast had a good variety and was tasty. It's a 10 minute stroll along the main street to the main square. There are more luxurious hotels in Sorrento but this was great value and we were very happy with our choice.

Lovely hotel, clean and cheerful. Staff great really enjoyed our stay for the week, would recommend for couples and families. Reception, restaurant and swimming pool on the ground floor, our room was on the lower second with a balcony very pleasant view over the bay.

The hotel was very clean, the rooms had fresh linen and cleaned daily. Although we did not have a balcony, the view was out to sea. The air conditioning was satisfactory, but would have been better if it had run during the night, and less during the day as after midnight it became very hot, even fans would have made a vast difference. The staff at the reception were helpful and friendly at all times, as were the staff in the restaurant, where the food was always good. The only down side was the road traffic noise, we found too much, but that is probably because we live in the country in the UK.

A couple of friends and I booked the Rivage for 3 nights (we had a triple room) in June. Firstly the location is ideal, it's close to the Marina for nice restaurants, close to the beach and close to the main streets with shops and restaurants. The train station is a simple 15 minute walk (we only did this once to get to Pompeii, with luggage it might be more of a challenge). The hotel is very clean in all areas the cleaners did a good job. The room was very spacious with a big, powerful shower. There is a safe in the room free to use which was great. The pool area was bigger than expected and perfect for a dip at the end of the day. All staff were very welcoming and helpful when we asked questions.

We have just returned from this great, reasonably priced hotel with swimming pool. We had booked a different b&b via who cancelled our booking while we were on the flight to Naples. So this place saved our lives ( or so it felt). After searching the Web for alternative accommodation, we asked our driver if he knew anyone who could help us book it and he sorted it for us. With 30 minutes notice we had this place booked for the next 4 nights. It was clean and friendly, there was a good choice of breakfast and drinks were reasonably priced. It was better located away from the main square but within walking distance still. The pool had good views of the sea and it just felt like a delight to stay here. It cost us 395 euros for 4 nights so worked out cheaper than the original place. Thank you Rivage!

We stayed here for a week in May, good location , just short walk from centre, nice modern, clean hotel, helpful friendly staff, the pool was a bonus at the end of the day sight seeing with an amazing view! Loved staying here

Great hotel in a good location ideal for exploring Sorrento and the surrounding area. Easy check in and pleasant room with the view of the sea which was a bonus.Nothing fancy but a very good standard for 3 star and cleaned daily. 15 minutes walk max to train station.Small pool ideal for cooling off after a day out.The breakfast was a good continental with plenty of choice, cakes, pastries, ham, cheese, frankfurter sausages and hard boiled eggs along with cereals ,fruits and yoghurts. A great start to the day. You can hear noise from other rooms but nothing that you wouldn't normally expect given that the floors are tiled and not carpeted and there is minimal soft furnishings as you expect from an Italian hotel so the noise does not get absorbed and can carry. Look forward to staying again.Friendly staff and lovely setting.

Hotel is in a great location! A few minutes walk to the centre. Easy access to Positano and Capri by bus or ferry. Lovely staff. Nice and clean room. Thin walls and floors, however, we had a comfortable stay. Great breakfast!! overall, great stay!

My husband and I stayed at the Rivage Hotel for 6 nights from 13 May 2017 because of the reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. We had room 212 and the only noise issue we had was scraping of chairs as we were under the restaurant. It took us a while to work out why we kept hearing chairs being dragged!! Apart from that it was very quiet. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. The mini bar had water, beer, Presseco, Fanta, Coca Cola and apple juice. Our balcony was perfect for people watching and got full sun in the afternoon. There is a pool with 12 loungers so it gets full up quite quickly. There is also a sun trap where the bar is located with drinks and ice cream available. The food was amazing, with constant entertainment from the wait staff! Breakfast is on floor 0, with a huge selection to fill you up for a day of sight seeing. The shining stars of this hotel are without doubt the staff, who seem to want you to have a wonderful time and are always smiling and helpful. This hotel is fantastic, we are already planning to go back as it had everything we could want and is just a short walk to Marina Grande or the town centre. Fully recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for one night, happy with most things but a few points let it down. Mainly the very thin walls - we could hear our neighbours enjoying themselves the entirety of the evening until they fell asleep - must admit this was quite unpleasant. We also heard doors banging, the sound of pacing up and down.. I think the sound proofing requires an upgrade! The bed was comfy, shower made a squeaking noise and leaked on the floor, shower head covered with limescale. The breakfast was your average continental. We didn't have dinner here, walked down to the port and found a restaurant nearby. I wouldn't stay here again.
