First of all: go to Sonora Caverns - fantastic, and not just because it's the only thing to do in town. We've been to a lot of caverns & have never been this impressed. We stayed here as a way point between Austin& Carlsbad, not expecting much due to the low cost. We were pleasantly surprised with room, common areas, and breakfast. We had a king size bed which was very comfortable. Good bedding. The room was average size and very clean. There was a small fridge in the room which I unplugged because of the noise it made. We were right in front of the (outdoor) pool, which might be a problem if you get loud people. There were very respectful groups there on our night. I was impressed that there a barbecue grill for guests' use by the pool, and several tables surrounding so you can have a nice meal there. Also several lounges around the pool. Breakfast was good, with a nice assortment of hot & cold food, plus fresh fruit and small pastries. Staff was friendly & efficient.

Tastefully decorated. He beds were comfortable. Room was clean. There was a Coffee pot and hair dryer in the room. The staff was friendly. Wifi worked great. Breakfast is better than most motels. We would stay here again.

We Stopped here as a quick stop on the way west and it wasn't bad. Very clean, smells like new, would recommend for one night stops. Breakfast was decent. Nothing special but it was good. Sonora is a beautiful place to stop for a night. Would definitely stay here again if needed.

Stayed one night on a business trip. Check in was very friendly and quick to accommodate room changes for both myself and the other colleague I was traveling with. The rooms were clean and in good condition. From a noise standpoint the walls were solid and the only thing I heard was car engines/doors in the evening (typical for a motel). I stayed on the 2nd floor so it probably cut down on the noise. Hotel breakfast/restaurant opens at 6:30 but coffee is out by 5:30am. I believe this is the best place to stay if you are traveling through Sonora.

This was a good experience after a problem start. We arrived late and check-in was smooth and friendly for our Room 124. At first we asked for a new room because the TV would not come on but it took about two minutes for the picture to come on, then it was not a good picture but it cleared up in a few more minutes. I reported it to the front desk. Otherwise, this was a normal stay. The hotel is the old style where the room door opens to the parking lot but it is quiet, and close to your car for loading and unloading. The room was clean, we slept well, everything worked and had all the normal items. We liked that the bathroom fan, which came on automatically with the light switch, worked quietly. The breakfast was sparse to average but tasted good, the coffee great, and the area clean. We would stay again when passing through the area.

Location: Excellent. Near I-10. Sleep Quality: Excellent. Room: Comfortable mattress, 2 firm, 2 soft pillows. Clean. Service: Excellent. Room stocked and breakfast area frequently serviced. Value: Excellent. Reasonable for a Comfort Inn. Overall: Excellent- Convenient, safe, quiet, clean room.

This is a basic Comfort Inn. It has been awhile since it has been remodeled and it is the old two story motor inn you see all across the country. But everything worked and we got a good night's sleep, at least up until the dumpster collection truck arrived at 5:30 am. There is also a basic breakfast. Good value for the price.

Left San Antone' for Fort Davis Tx. Not going to drive that far in one day. Building looked pretty new and was just fine. Why do the idiot corporations put the shower heads at 7 ft in the showers. They usually become difficult to adjust anyway. The bed was nice and firm. The front desk was good coming and going.

My husband and I have just completed a 16 day road trip and we have stayed at 14 multiple motels along the way. I would say that Choice Hotels has been by far the best and most consistently pleasant overnight stays we had on our entire trip. Quality Inn is one of, I believe nine, Choice Hotels. We stayed the last night of our road trip in Sonora, TX at the Quality Inn. I made an advance reservation using the Choice Hotels mobile app before arriving at the motel. Upon arriving and checking in the registration went very smoothly and our front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. We were asked if we had eaten supper before arriving and we said no, we hadn't. The clerk was very sweet to give us a snack bag with bottled water, popcorn and cookies. Our room was clean, spacious, and inviting with all the usual amenities you would expect for a motel such as this. Our bed was very comfortable and we had a good, quiet nights sleep. The next morning we had the opportunity to eat a nice breakfast with lots of tasty choices in food items. We checked out of the motel and continued on our journey home refreshed, with full tummies and pleasant memories of our stay in Sonora. We would definitely want to stay here again if we were in this area and in future travels we will choose Choice Hotels for our overnight stays.

Room was at about 95%, but there was a small brown streak in the shower by the curtain. Breakfast was okay. Not stellar, but okay for free. I'd most likely stay here again (although I'd probably bring my Lysol just in case next time.)
