Great location. The courtyard is beautiful. There is a very nice pool and jacuzzi in the ground floor and all around is green plants. Good for chilling. The apartment is big, clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff, Andreas gave us a lots of good information where we have to go or visit. The closest beach club in Indigo you can't swim .There is a free shuttle bus to Coral beach club which is beautiful! The breakfast in Imprevist it was delicious and the services also very good! We loved our stay!
Amazing place. We rented the penthouse with the rooftop patio. Being able to bbq our own food with a bar fridge on the roof was amazing. Suite was large and very clean. Beds were a little hard but other than that we loved it here.
for groups big or small this place is amazing. we had a big group, adults that were there to party and adults with little ones. the condo was set up perfect and was very big so everyone could do their own unique thing. will definitely go back the next chance we get. Thank you so much!
My month stay at Maya Villa has been a absolutely wonderful. Everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff to the gardeners are all top notch professionals. I travelled here with my family for 2 weeks and stayed on my own for another two weeks and felt very safe and taken care of the entire time. Perfect location for anyone to stay in Playa.
We stayed here for a week and it was a delight. Nice, clean, spacious and very beautiful, smaller property. Its, quaint, cozy, clean and located right down the block from both the beach to the left or the main strip to the right. The kitchen is spacious, clean, and comes with pots, pans and things you would normally find at home. The island in the kitchen has wines that you can purchase and a complimentary one that came with our stay. The fridge is stocked with sodas, mineral waters, beers and the counter had a basket with M&Ms, other snacks charged by consumption. There is a water cooler in the kitchen which is a plus which ice cold/hot water. The rooms are equipped with quite fans and AC that works VERY well! It really is perfectly located if you want some shopping and local food mixed in with some beach time all within a block each way. Maya Villa is clean, spacious and our unit came with king and 2 twins. The unit had two separate showers which was nice. We will be back next year but opting for one of the bigger properties in the hotel chain. The one drawback for me was the "pool". It's not much of a pool, a bit chilly and the sunlight is blocked for the most part except in one section and so your kind of limited if another couple/family decide they want to do the same. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 was simply the pool other than that it really is a lovely property with a blend of nature and plants. The proximity to 5th avenue, local food, shopping, gym, nightclubs and the beach over at Indigo is a HUGE +++. There is a very nice security person providing 24 hour surveillance. Very, very SAFE!!
Location is ok, close to Quinta Ave and the beach. There were a few things that would make me not stay there again. 1. The cleaning people threw away my sea-bands which are wrist bands for motion sickness. When I told the head of their department she insisted on crediting only $5. I explained I got them for $8 and I explained if I was able to even find them at the airport (which I didn't and checked a pharmacy on the way) they'd probably be double. She again insisted on a $5 credit and told me that I was responsible for my belongings. Excuse me?! Like I put them in the trash? They were out on my TV stand as a reminder to wear them, how would I know they would throw them away when it was something obviously not trash or belonging to the condo. She finally refunded $15 after that comment pissed me off. 2. Beds and couches are made of CONCRETE with cushions. Your back will hurt when you wake up or rest on the couch. 3. There is a club or bar close by that will wake you up every night at 3:30am. 4. All the stairs. 5. Our AC broke and was leaking in my bathroom. There was an awful wet smell from the first night to the last on the ground level. I had to light incense every night to cover it up. 6. The AC doesn't work in the rooms as well as they do in the common area. It gets stuffy.
We just spent a week at this condo hotel. I think most of the reviews are fake. First there is no elevator. Most of the stairs only have partial railings. We booked with Hotels.com and were treated like 2nd class. They downgraded us AFTER handing us keys to a nice condo then took them back when she noticed we did not book direct. How stupid did they think that after speaking to people there we wouldn't notice the difference in condos? The other people staying there were getting FREE breakfasts some up to 3 weeks worth, we did not. We tipped the maid $5 a day and she still didn't empty the coffee pot, even after I left it unplugged and open. They make you walk a block to the office for a beach towel and have card system 1towel per person not a 4 star type of service. The door lock was faulty (and one night we got locked out) on the downgraded condo they gave us. The safe batteries were dead and could not be opened. The AC in the living area was faulty and read at over 80 degrees even though it was frigid and you couldn't stay inside. The beach club is 2 blocks away small and smelly with nowhere to swim. The other club they will drive you to is better but rude to you as you are not one of their condo owners. IT is a very long day if you go 10:30 AM to 5 PM. The beds are rock hard on a cement platform as is the couch. There is only a breakfast counter no table and the chairs are to high for the counter. The balcony facing the courtyard has a small table with only 2 chairs for 4 people. The apartment we were suppose to get had 2 balconies. There is little light in the condo and the bedroom windows face walls. It was very disappointing for the money. Just remember if you are older or disabled they should make this clear that this is not the place for you. Lastly they need to put things in writing because everyone gives you a different story. I did get them to admit that the reason they changed the condo was because of booking with hotels.com. The pool is tiny and just decorative. So be warned
the rooms with the rooftop patios and hot tubs are nice. This is not a beach front location. it is quiet, the rooms are nice. The staff is very nice and professional. The restaurants that have coupons thru the condos are nice restaurants.
Stayed at Maya Villa during my birthday week. My villa was spacious and sparkling clean. Addie does a fine job. I got a welcome bottle of wine in my unit and one for my birthday. The villa is Extremely comfortable. I was solo and felt very safe. I stayed on a 2nd floor unit. These properties are well equipped and have so many amenities that are included; amazing free breakfasts at Imprevist or on the beach at Indigo beach club, free access to The Gym, tons of restaurants that provide 15% off with your VIP card and more. The Staff are great at the office and restaurants. Special shout out to Chileda at Imprevist; brunch here is delicious as well. Can’t wait to visit again.
We feel like in our house! The breakfast in the beach is amazing experience!!The localization is another good point is near everything and it is also near the park like xcaret,xplor...I highly recomend!!
