I have had a few co-workers who have stayed at this hotel and recommended it to me when visiting. So I did and I totally enjoyed my stay. It is in a great location. My room had a view of the parliament bldg. out front, it was great. Really enjoyed the big window view. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were a little soft but I worked with it and still have an comfortable rest. The room itself is not particular new, but it was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this hotel for sure. The front desk personnel were very helpful.
My stay at this hotel was great. I was upgraded when I checked into the hotel. The hotel is close to the main shopping hub of Sofia. It is also next to a casino (if that is something you like) and a few historical sights. There is a pharmacy nearby as well. Breakfast was an awesome experience. I would recommend trying it at least once. While the room was dated, you cannot help but appreciate the effort put in to maintain a luxurious feel to the hotel. My stay at this hotel was definitely value for money. The hotel is a quick taxi ride to the airport. The only shortcoming is that the view from my room was not exceptional.
Just enough to say that this hotel is under reconstruction, while some rooms or even floors a being sold at still very high prices.... As the result-dirty carpets and curtains, scratched furniture, old smell. Vacuum cleaning was given up a while ago...On the the service side-strict minimum, no bathrobes, slippers, let us not even mention complimentary fruit baskets or even bottles of water. First night we did not have even shower gel, it was mercifully added the next day. In short- to run away. Radisson no longer is a guarantee of quality for me.
A very comfortable hotel in the center of Sofia. The staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and well organized with a very large and nice bathroom. Breakfast is good but the restaurant is a close room with no windows. Not a large hotel and very comfortable to stay.
From this class and price of hotel you really expect high quality. Reality is: ugly room, bath room with not working correctly bath, very untasty breakfast and wifi which sometimes work sometimes not.
Everything is running in modern times and this hotel starts to look tired. Yes clean, yes centrally located, and staff is friendly. Nothing terrible but it starts to look and old and a little sad hotel (breakfast room, despite a good breakfast for choice and quality, is quite ugly, as well as bar in mezzanine). Rooms are not bad, absolutely, but nothing special or to remember. And hotel is not particularly cheap. Not 5, not 4 maybe could be a quite impersonal 3.5 stars hotel.
My room was quiet and comfortable with lots of space and a wonderful view. The location is perfect. Walk to Sofia University or walk to the museums and shopping areas. The staff went way beyond the call of duty to attend to every problem I encountered. They helped me find a new cell phone charger when mine didn't work, including calling several stores for me. They helped me figure out how to find the concert I was attending, and they helped me figure out how to obtain Levas when my debit card wouldn't work (Americans beware: Bulgaria was the one country in Europe where I couldn't get local currency at an ATM). Super nice people. The breakfast might be the best hotel breakfast I've ever head. Vast array of fresh fruits, vegetables, breads, eggs to order, and fresh squeezed orange juice for days. No lines and no wait. In the months leading up to my visit, email inquiries were answered within minutes. They met me at the airport and held up a sign with my name on it for a stress-free ride to the hotel. I don't know why they don't fix the torn carpet in the hallways, because everything else was perfect.
Breakfast better then the Hilton. Service not as good. location is awesome. Great sights just outside the hotel. Some right outside your window Nightclub and casino just next door. I couldn't hear either and slept soundly(Friday night stay). Lots of sights and places to eat within walking distance. Hotel rooms were old and small but clean and orderly. Safe in room. Full shower and tub. I was there Friday night and didn't see any rif raf outside as mentioned in previous reviews. Exec lounge was nothing special but always full of a bottle water and soft drinks for the taking. I did not see a pool and was told there was no gym when asked. Double check if this is important to you. Overall, fine job by radisson in Sofia 1st two photos are from window of room and 3rd is from the front of the building
I was in this amazing hotel in May for business. This hotel is in best location in Sofia. Nice view. Nice room, but not so big. I like much the lobby bar, because, the service is amazing. The food is excellent and there are amazing art work. Compliments. I really appreciate this. For this reason, in my personal opinion, this is the most beautiful lobby in Sofia. The room is clean and service fine. The direction is excellent, and check in fast.
The hotel is pretty new, rooms are spacy, fine and quiet. Bathroom facilities are excellent, as bed, too. Staff was very helpful and there was lots of choices at breakfast. Decoration in the lobby and halls is modern.
