Our unit was very clean and comfortable! Everything we needed was right at hand. The location was perfect, right next to the Ballhooter lift. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

The room was just the right size for our family at this price range. The only complaint is by the middle of the night we were freezing and the heat was all the way up. The heat seemed to turn off in the living room at night, and the sliding door had a breeze. We were given a space heater and it was all better.

The only problem is that there is power outage. We don't have electricity from noon to 6:40pm.

The lodge is in a good location and had a nice restaurant, but it is very old and very loud. Every time someone walks in the hall or came in from outside the whole building would shake. We got the pleasure of being on the bottom floor, so we we were up hearing what sounded like elephants moving across the floor until one in the morning all three nights. Also, the photo on website showed a fireplace in the room and we were not given a room with a fireplace. I should have read the fine print and not looked at the fake photos on website. The pool and hot tubs we located across the street in 20 degree weather to walk too, plus the water in both the pool and hot tub were cold. Also, it would have been nice to know that all of snowshoe is a national quiet zones and that we need calling cards to call home. I did not know that I would not be able to use my cell phone to call home to check on the kids. I bought a calling card, but the lodge ran out of cards the second night and I had to walk in 20 degree weather to another hotel to purchase a card. If I decide to go back I will not book through Online and I will not stay at the mountain lodge.
