The bathroom is claustrophobic the air-conditioner sounds like a running diesel engine and when the compressor kicks on and off sounds like someone hit it with a sledgehammer and late at night you could smell cigarette smoke from another room and I was in a non-smoking room .

We enjoyed two nights with our grandsons in an adjacent room. Located not far from where we enjoyed our entertainment. Breakfast of waffles and juice, etc. not big selection but enough. Rooms nice with two queen size beds in each with refrigerator and microwave if you wanted to use. Priced very reasonable.

Hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. Room was small and cramped, also under the bed was dirty. For price and location it wasn't a bad deal.

We drove halfway across the country and ended up in Sioux Falls. The days inn was in a great location and was very affordable. Exactly what we needed to make camp and sleep for the night

Our room was labeled a 'smoke-free' room, but you wouldn't know that due to the terrible lingering smoke smell. Our room was also freezing cold! We turned the heat up to 84 which was the highest it would go, but the room never warmed up to a comfortable temperature. The bathroom was dirty, the room overall was in poor condition and needs some major updating.

Compared to other Days Inn properties, this one needs updating.

The Days Inn is a bit of an older facility, but clean and neat. Room was good, Staff was welcoming ,very friendly and helpful. God breakfast. Good value in SIoux Falls area as prices there seem to be higher than elsewhere in SD. Good restaurants nearby (just across the highway is a large shopping Mall with many choices. THis was our first overnight on a trip to Mt Rushmore and Rapid CIty SD areas.

Best bed we have slept in. Staff was wonderful, breakfast so-so.

I was there for an eye appointment that is located on Minnesota Ave. Easy access from there to Louise and 69th. Since I'm not used to big city traffic this is a great route.

Staff was very nice and the room set up well for a person spending a night on the road.

Very good value and a great location . The room was small but clean . The tv needs to be updated . I really enjoyed the breakfast and noon checkout.

my boyfriend and i stayed at the days inn empire on our journey out to yellowstone. we were greeted very courteously, check in was quick and easy, the room was clean and comfortable. we were given a 15% off coupon for a local restaurant for dinner by the lady at the front desk and good directions on how to find some local entertainment. The bed was comfortable. The complimentary continental breakfast was ample and varied.

I liked the hotel, but the people did not speek english

I can't say anything good about the hotel, aside from the decent breakfast. Handfulls of trash and lego blocks were left underneath the bed and grabbed by one of the children with us. There were hairs on the walls and ceiling of the bathroom. Motorcyclists parked outside our window and had a small party all morning long so we had to close our windows--which did not block out the noise. Overall appearance was rather dirty. I wish I had brought in an extra blanket to sleep on. Can't say I recommend this one.

I received a smoking room. I wanted a non-smoking room. The rooms were dated, very worn and the bath tub had mold.

The service was great. We called before we got there to see if we could check in early, as we were attending a wedding. When we got there, the room was ready. Very good service.

The only thing that would have made the stay better would have been an elevator.

Many of the other guests were partying, lots of noise, door slamming and loud TV's. I called the front desk twice after midnite to ask that they quell the commotion to no avail.

the maid was uneffecient, there was no coffee left and coffee pot was uncleaned from day to day, found a dirty spoon under the bed. Check in was efficient and clerk very glad to help. Breakfast girl was more than willing to help.
