This hotel has so much potential but the up-keep is very poor. The rooms are a reasonable size but furniture is certainly dated, the bed needs to be replaced, very noisy with a slight move, front sofa the pleather is peeled off. Housekeeping is very very poor: phone dirty, sheets are stained, clothing tags were left on the floor, floor was not properly cleaned, and soap scum was visible. Additionally, this the staff was very unfriendly it is as though I was begging shelter, no wifi code was given upon check-in. I called front desk 5-7 times no answer. However, the friendly staff memeber was actually available on check out. I definitely will not return and I will not recommend staying here until upgrades are made.
Hotel is close to everything which is why we stayed, rooms are clean and basic. However elevator didn’t work which was tough as we had to climb two flights of stairs with our luggages.

This is our 2nd time to stay in this suite. The bed is very comfortable. The room is very clean. The staff (Tekeyah Williams)is very very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very accessible to all. The price is very reasonable and affordable. There's a grocery store below the hotel. Very near the beach.
I had a great experience at this hotel, it's located right above the market, which threw me off at first but wound up being super convenient. The actual suites are design beautifully nice and spacious with full kitchen if you want to save money and cook, and the market being right downstairs makes it that much better. The Staff was the best part of our stay at the commodore suites, the most friendly and helpful receptionists, they helped us with restaurants, bars, clubs, cheap taxis, one staff member even took time out of their day and drove and got us tickets to th Wayne Wonder concert that was taking place the weekend we were there, if that's not A1 service I don't know what is. It's affordable and convenient and the staff is incredible not to mention is super affordable.. I would deff recommend people to stay here
