Days Hotel is a budget hotel that is of very high standard within its league. The room we had was small but well designed in terms of the use of space. Despite the tight space, we love the window seat and I could use the table space for my work. Shower room was tiny but the water pressure was excellent. There were sufficient amenities provided in the room.No pool but there is 24h access to a small gym. There is a small mall nearby but plenty of nice options for food surrounding the hotel, within the mall as well as from the hotel next door. Not exactly near to a train station but free shuttle to Novena and Orchard Road departs hourly from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was relatively good and exceeded our expectations in terms of the spread for the price we paid. We booked this hotel for a cheap and last minute staycation and we enjoyed our stay tremendously.
Professional team , provides everything , prompt team , good food . Rooms are very small , the staff is quiet efficient . Timely shuttle service. Warmth factor is missing Nearby to a small mall , which has everything .
Excellent customer service , would just like to get good breakfast options , otherwise the stay, rates , housekeeping service , front desk all were good, I would also like to stay there again , preferably there are good offers given.
When i checked in this time, the hotel has reserved a room before my arrival based on prior request. I appreciate that good service. I always stay in this hotel. I just found out that the hotel provides handy smartphone. The only drawback this time is the breakfast. the breakfast is reasonably priced, but it is the same food served every day including the bakeries i.e. the same muffin n danish everyday. I stayed here for few nights and I was bored of the food. The hot food is not as tasty as compared to the food that past.
2 adults a toddler and a 5yr old. great location, great view, place is clean, enough space for all four of us. comfy. love the handy smartphone provided. an amazing idea having a handy smartfone provided to us by the hotel. it works like our personal smartphone. allowed you call to a certain countries(free), google places to visit, use various messengers (unlimited data and calls within singapore). free shuttle (friendly driver) is to orchard & novena. u got bus stop 2 mins walk from the lobby & u got grab transport to get u anywhere. theres a medical center next door & a market (5 mins walk) with various foods, two huge malls nearby, a comfy restaurant downstairs near the lobby with great friendly services esp with kids (thanks to Lily). we had breakfast each morning down near the lobby. two great kids channels. easy access to do your laundry, wi fi internet was superb, noise level is acceptable for both my kids. a few photos to share. would love to add more photos unfortunately only 10 photos allowed.
2 adults a toddler and a 5yrs old. Clean place to be at. Service was great. Great location to get to a market, MRT station, malls. We love the free air conditioned shuttle bus. It takes to orchard and novena. Plenty of foods to choose from or the restaurant downstairs is awesome too. Lily the staff@restaurant was amazing and helpful. The staffs gets things done fast. Noise level was acceptable for us as a family. Pillows and mattress were comfy. Love the handy smartphone facility. Its very handy for tourist. U can make free calls both locals and some countries. Theres a medical center nearby. Wifi was great but u wont need it as much, thanks to the handy smartphones. No issue with that. Highly recommended.
the hotel is clean. the staffs are friendly. there are shopping plaza, food centre nearby and convenient to shop around. the restaurant on the ground floor also provides good western food. there are many famous restaurants around that area.
Singapore is a great country. Day's hotel in Zhong Shan park, in some degree, is not a good hotel. I am a Chinese, come here for business intention. Frankly speaking, my spoken English in engineering is OK, but when I need to talk with others in the daily life, it can't been seen as good enough. It's the premise. In 18/6/2017, I came here with my two Hong Kong bosses and the other Chinese girl. When we check in, my bosses were received by a girl here, and I promise I heard she said Chinese. They didn't get any requirement of deposit, but when I and the girl were received by a Bindoo boy maybe, we need to pay the deposit. Seriously speaking, the deposit is quite common, but what annoyed me is that when I asked the boy why not all of us need the deposit, he denied it and said that they will require the deposit for all the people, with the present of my Hong Kong bosses, who were just checked in with no deposit! How absurd it was! To not affect the work, we just checked in with the deposit. And we checked out in 20/6, and I checked in this hotel again in 23/6( my company booked the room for me, or I would never live here). And in 23/6, deposit as usual, and what impressed me a lot is that another receptionist who can speak Chinese, denied the double standard again, and I heard the laugh and words in Chinese from the girl who received my bosses five days ago. And about 1h later, I just go downstairs and wanna look around. This time, I asked the girl is there any spot around, with Chinese. And something ridiculous happened, that the girl said that she cannot speak Chinese! Actually, I am so disappointed this time in Singapore, with the poor experience in Days hotel. Maybe I am wrong, with the otopaghy that cannot distinguish my country language with other language. Hope that girl never learn how to speak Chinese, or I will feel humiliated.
My partner and I stayed here for one night between transfers. We have stayed before and find it a well priced and located hotel. It is near a reasonable hawkers market for food and is fairly close to Novena and Orchard for shopping. Will stay here again if needing a hotel in Singapore.
Room is small but adequate space for 1-2 people. Dilmah tea bags, Nescafe & Decaf coffee pkts available for use with hot water kettle. Padded bench by the window to enjoy the view, comfortable bed, plenty of electrical outlets, night light and reading light, curtains close well to keep room dark in the morning, a/c works well, toilet equipped with water sprayer for personal hygiene, good water pressure and hot water for shower, washcloths provided. gym on 2nd floor had a treadmill, elliptical and bike machine with some weights. laundry and ice machine also on 2nd floor. Breakfast buffet was amazing with great selection of food from 6:00-10:30. MRT Novena was close but the hotel provided a shuttle bus there as well as to Orchard. A FairPrice Finest grocery store, Guardian Pharmacy & Bread Talk were next door and hawker stalls nearby. A movie theater was only 3-5 min walk away. Very convenient location.
