Simple hotel amenities, room was abit small.. staff were friendly, basic breakfast provided.. good news is that its super near to Bugis Junction, abt 10-15 minutes walking distance.. a good choice if you’re needing a relatively cheap and clean hotel to stay for a few nights..
The hotel is quite close to Bugis MRT station and Bugis Junction, its about 400 m walking distance. Bugis MRT line is in green line so it have direct access to airport by using train. As other Amaris hotel chain, its clean, simple and fairly comfortable. The downsides for me is about the room without window, i get the room without window in 6 floor, and the design of the hallway that connecting the elevator and the room is quite bizarre (seems like an emergency exit with elevator). They provide breakfast, but I did not have time to try it because I had to check out early in the morning.
I choose this hotel because this is the first time I go to Singapore for only 1 night. And Amaris hotel is so popular in Indonesia but it was totally different there, their rooms are small and the breakfast is not special at all, but everything in Singapore is expensive so I think that is still reasonable. It located in Bugis, near to the MRT station and Arab streets, there are so many foods and restaurants there. So sad that receptionists is not friendly, it’s so different than Amaris Hotel in Indonesia. Don’t forget to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and comb because they won’t provide it for you.
I had a conference during 16-19 Nov. For convenience, I selected a hotel closed to Suntec CC by agoda.com. This hotel had good location, just 5-10 minute walk. The room was quite small for me but is clean. There wasTV, safe box but no refrigerator. They provided free breakfast with cereal, instant cup noodle, cake, bread and coffee. The price is a little bit high for me and I understand the high cost of living in SG.
One thing superb for this hotel is location. Near to MRT, many food stall & hawker nearby, shopping center (Bugis Street, Bugis Juction, Bugis Cube). Amenities very standard. Just slippers, toothpaste & toothbrush. I like the bed firmness. For someone who like soft bed, you're not gonna get it. The very disappointed one is the wall. It is SUPER VERY THIN. I can hear voices next my room also in the alley. And in my last day, I can barely sleep since my neighbours back late like 00.000 and they chit chat like the whole floor is theirs. I already slam my door once and won't effect until I snap them. They are Indonesian and it is very embarrassing. Ah, I also find that my TV turn on, have sound on but no picture at all, like all black (horror huh?). I complained in my first day's evening and it just fixed in my third day. So the first and second day I have no TV to watch. Even the channel is very limited. Most review said that the WIFI good, but not in my case. So I use my own data when I stay there. The breakfast has very limited choices. Just bread (you can toast it and for me it taste good), one kind of cereal, juice (with most water than fruit), milk, water, coffee, tea and instant cup noodle. For the reasonable price it is recommended but don't expect too much.
I stayed for only one days, this hotel was good for weekend gateway or short vacation. location near to MRT Bugis, just find with Exit D. many halal restaurant surrounding and the price is average. you can keep your luggage when you already check out, then you need to explore Singapore before your late flight.
For the first time I visited Singapore and my minimal budget, this Hotel worth it with the budget. The excellent for this Hotel was had "strategic location" in the 21 Middle Road can be accessed with Bus, MRT (but you must walk from mrt station to this Hotel), and Taxi / Uber. This hotel near from Bugis Cube, Bugis Junction and Bugis Street if you're staying at this hotel. You can access there by walking at Pedestrian with 5-10 minutes to access Bugis Area. It's nice to explore the way to Bugis Area at morning until mid night. Overall, this Hotel was recommended for traveller who had minimal budget in Singapore. But if you have more budget you can take a look in 21 Middle Road so many Hotel can be staying. Thanks for Amari to be my first stayed in Singapore, next time maybe we will meet again. Rate my personal value 7 from 10. Please improve your services.
Not expecting much but the hotel was cosy and well kept. Cramped room but good enough for us as we spent our time much outside. Toast and cereal plus noodles in cup for breakfast. Walking distance from Bugis MRT and Bugis street. There's bus stand in front of the hotel and 7E nearby.
I stayed here only for a night, as I was only transiting in Singapore. Thought of booking them because the price is much better than the one inside the airport. Place is really easy to find and very convenient, very near to the mrt station and lots of eateries nearby. The lady behind the lobby counter wasn't the friendliest but, maybe because we came for check in bit late. We checked in around 9pm -ish. The room is very small and compact, but it wasn't bad for a night stay. Free water, toiletries and towels are provided and there are a small wardrobe to hang some clothes on. There is a small window in the room too. Breakfast is also included, but I didn't get it as my flight is very early. Usually in big hotels, they will pack the food for us, don't expect they will pack something from you here. I got a room facing the main street, the cars are not a lot. I barely here the car machines, but people who walking pass by were pretty loud. So, don't recommend to stay here longer than a day. The wall in the room is pretty thin too, so if someone opened the door or speak in hallway, you can hear em all. Will I come back? Maybe yes, but only for transit.
It says "hotel" but should be definitely renamed as "hostel" since the standard doesn't match the description. The staff at the reception desk was unpleasant at the check in and more occupied with their phones than the guests. The rooms look so much better on photos than in reality and the standard is pretty low. The room we stayed in had no window and was really small. The walls are thin, so you basically hear other guests in their rooms, or their alarm clocks as we did. The sink in the room was difficult to use, since it was put right under the mirror shelf and there was no soap to wash your hands with. The bathroom generally was not so clean as we found plenty of hair on the floor and you're only provided with two big towels. Finally the breakfast is a misunderstanding - a cup of instant noodles, toast bread and jam is all it is offered. The only positive sides of the hotel are the bed and location. The bed is comfy enough to get some good sleep and the hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the Marina Bay and 15 taxi ride from the airport. Generally it is ok to stay here only for one night, but if you're planning to stay longer in Singapore, book something else.
