It says "hotel" but should be definitely renamed as "hostel" since the standard doesn't match the description. The staff at the reception desk was unpleasant at the check in and more occupied with their phones than the guests. The rooms look so much better on photos than in reality and the standard is pretty low. The room we stayed in had no window and was really small. The walls are thin, so you basically hear other guests in their rooms, or their alarm clocks as we did. The sink in the room was difficult to use, since it was put right under the mirror shelf and there was no soap to wash your hands with. The bathroom generally was not so clean as we found plenty of hair on the floor and you're only provided with two big towels. Finally the breakfast is a misunderstanding - a cup of instant noodles, toast bread and jam is all it is offered. The only positive sides of the hotel are the bed and location. The bed is comfy enough to get some good sleep and the hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the Marina Bay and 15 taxi ride from the airport. Generally it is ok to stay here only for one night, but if you're planning to stay longer in Singapore, book something else.
The Hotel is a budget Hotel per Singapore standards. The rooms are small with space barely enough to keep an opened suitcase. The room has a small window, a small wardrobe and a flat TV and chair. The ground floor has a small reception in common with a small breakfast area. The breakfast buffet is very basic and the same everyday. However it suffices the purpose of budget travelling. The positive side is a 24h seven eleven is just few steps away. The hotel is located near BUGIS which is a bustling market place. Bugis MRT is also nearby. In the vicinity are many business and convention centres like Suntec city. The famous Duck tours of Singapore also have pickup point nearby.
this hotel located in best area. at the corner of 4 junction. there is bus stop in front of hotel and smoe bus stop across the Street. there is a 7-11 near. close to MRT Bugis Station. just need a few minutes walk to Haji Lane, Bugis Junction, Bugis Street. there are so many restaurant near. The choice of breakfast also quite varied. the receptionist can speak bahasa, and so welcoming. They let us check in early. The hotel facilities are very fitting for the size of a budget hotel, with a rational price we get private areas and amenities. If you just need a place to rest after tired of traveling around, this hotel is one of the right choice.
This is a bare bones hotel, a checkin desk a lift Small rooms shower WC / Wash basin in room. Rooms are clean and adequate made up every day, shower worked well but was getting on a bit, Staff were helpful, and friendly Umbrella was available as it's often raining in Singapore Breakfast is very-very basic in the lobby, Better is the Mc Donald's round the corner. But ... Location is spot on! Right in the Middle of Singapore next to Raffles City and the famous Raffles Hotel, Chijmes Restaurants and Bars is super in the evening and Brotziet is a very short walk away. Shoppers Paradise - there all here. I was travelling alone, hotel may be a little small for couples, but for the location 10/10 and reasonably priced.
Had no choice to stay in a budget hotel for holiday in Singapore this time due to group travelling. Chose this hotel due to close to Bugis Junction. Room was oke, very small compared with Amaris in Indonesia. Breakfast was also simple at the lobby area. Staff was oke. Nothing and Noone special to remember
Location was terrific. Close to lots of places, beautiful area. The room was tiny. Shower with no door so all got splashed and tiny harmless but disgusting flies were all over. Very uncomfortable sink to wash hands or teeth. Aircon cannot be turned on/off or adjusted (remote control is useless). Aircon leaks water to the room floor. Shampoo and soap are from a dispenser but the staff does not check whether they're already empty (our shampoo never got refilled). Breakfast is not worth the effort. Not enough chairs to accommodate guests so I ended up having cereal standing right next to the hotel counter (which by the way is the same eating area). There are other small similar hotels in the area so you might want to give them a try. I would not come back to this one.
Photos looked more impressive than reality. I booked through Expedia and because it was a same-day reservation I didn't have much choice. Santika is next to Hotel 81 and Fragrance Hotel which are a bit dodgy. Water flow from the shower is sufficient to clean but not comfortable. Soap and shampoo did not make me feel cleansed. There is also no shower cap provided. Sink was very small and hence difficult to use. Mattress was hard, duvet was thin but overall okay for sleeping. Rooms were small and walls are not soundproof. Breakfast was very, very basic. Milk was also not cold. Provided the price point, I would much rather stay at other hotels I had visited in the past. I don't recommend this hotel unless you have no choice or plan to be in Bugis/City Hall area a lot.
I requested for a twin room and i got my request. Staffs were nice and helpful. My room was in the corner the room was bigger. Breakfast was just breads, jams, and cereal but it's OK. From Bugis MRT take exit C and the hotel was just 5 mins walking
My stay was 8 nights , overall the hotel is clean and tidy, breakfast is monotonous labor of toast and butter, tea and coffee. The room was small but compact air conditioning which loom constantly cleaning is at a level not change the sheets
Travelling alone and only needed a bed for my stay, I considered the price I paid through an Agoda promo deal a good bargain for this hotel. Thanks to the review by TheOneTraveler, I found the hotel quickly. The door lock of the room prepared for me was faulty and the staff very quickly got another room for me. Space is very expensive in Singapore, so not much can be expected if staying in a budget hotel. If a traveler wants to enjoy the comfort of a hotel room with luxurious amenities, then this hotel is not the choice. Although the room size is smaller than my own office space, I will consider staying here again if I'm travelling solo provided the cost is right.
