This was a mess from the beginning, the tv didn't work most of the time, then the remote didn't work took a day to get a new one, the parking garage gate was broken, homeless people staying in the garage that were very scary to my son, the staff knew nothing about the area, and roomservice never answered their phone, the bar tenders were very rude

I made my reservation online and didn't realize the check-in time was 4 pm. I arrived at 2:30 and they told me the room was almost ready. They said I could go to lunch and it should be ready afterwards. I went to lunch, returning at 3:30. The room was still not ready. I told them I had a business meeting at 4 and they said it should just be a few minutes. At 10 till 4 I left my bag with the bellman and went to my meeting, without being able to get in my room first. I feel 4 pm is an unreasonable checkin time, but I'll take some of the blame for that. The room was prepad since I booked on a travel site, and after checking out they charged my credit card for tax and a $20 destination fee. I wish they would just be up front with the true cost of the room and not add on some fee just intended to increase the cost of the room without disclosing it in their internet pricing.

Would stay again

I've been to much more impressive hotels at this price point but this was for a business trip. I imagine Hyatt bought this hotel and rebranded it because it definitely didn't have a 4-star hotel feel. Location was good. Near a lot of tourist attractions including the Public Market. Make sure you plan in advance and buy food/snacks. The little shop in the hotel had nothing but overpriced water, sodas and a few choices of candy bars. Not much at all. The mini marts that were close to the hotel all closed early. They do have a cool Amazon mini mart around the corner where you just scan your Amazon Prime QR code, shop and walk out. It records your purchases without a cashier. However, it closed like at 6pm. Also, you were supposed to tell the front desk before 11am if you wanted housekeeping services or new towels/shampoo/toilet paper. We told them twice way before 11am and neither time, did they make up the room or provide towels/toilet paper. When we arrived back from sightseeing and told them, someone just came and left a garbage bag full of towels and shampoos by the door. I don't even think they knocked on the door. Expecting a little more from a 4-star hotel at this price. This hotel was for a business trip so it did the job but definitely would look elsewhere if I was paying for it.

I'll start with the check in - fantastic! Not just mine, but I witnessed others checking in had a seamless process. The room was amazing - clean and modern and kind of funky. There is a hotel restaurant/bar and a pub kind of at street level. The area is walkable during the day...at night, one would need to be careful (which is normal in big cities at this time). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Facilities were clean and the staff friendly. Parking situation late on a Saturday night is terrible. Rooms should come with reserved parking. No mention of it
