Very clean facility. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, away from the train track. Fully furnished kitchen. HUGE bathroom.

Room was amazing. Mattress was very comfortable. The train was not a problem since the room comes with a white noise machine. Breakfast was nice with lots of options. The property was beautiful. The large fire pit was something we would like to use if we had more time.

While the room was nice and the service was amicable, the "pet area" was ridiculous, and unsafe. I am pregnant, and traveling with my 6 month old dog and was placed on the 3rd floor, at the very end of the hallway. The end of the hallway had a door that opened to stairs leading to the pet area so I hoped this was by design but the door was no re-entry and you could only go out it. It took 10 minutes to get back to the room. The Pet area was a sorry patch or urine-soaked grass that was no bigger than 5 ft x 5ft, and the rest of the entire property was dark black mulch. Even if my dog was ok with using the pet area (she wasn't), there was a dead rat on the grass as well as someone's discarded apple cores. I was there for 3 days and the rat joined us (in spirit anyway) each day, showing that the area was not maintained or kept after. For a $100 non-refundable pet deposit I would expect at least a place for them to do their business free of dead animals.
We are incredibly sorry and embarrassed about your experience with our pet area. Our operating manager is taking care of the issue and will make sure that this area is maintained to the upmost standards. We appreciate your feedback. We cannot improve without them. very clean and updated hotel. Great breakfast! Room had ample space and comfortable beds. Close to Stanford, which we were visiting. Also, shopping and eating places nearby.
